I have previous models and this one is by far the Brightest and it has night time modes in Red, Green & Blue which are awesome for night Fishing or Camping.

UPDATE: I reached out to Black Diamond and they shipped a replacement product at no cost. Satisfied!The headlamp works fine. I use the red light setting to read before bed and have occasionally used the headlamp on camping trips.Approximately two years after purchase, the tilt bracket broke. The product is out of warranty and as far as I can tell, Black Diamond does not sell replacement tilt brackets.

Bought this "head light" as we say in Southern Louisiana.....LOL. Yes, for my hubby's birthday and he really enjoys using it. When I can't find him at night I've discovered he's walking and shining on our land. Too funny!! I'm very pleased that I chose this head light/lamp. Thanks Amazon!

I previously had the smaller version of this light which was 330 lm but I dropped it in the driveway and the FedEx truck ran over it so I bought this one. This light is brighter and its a little bit bigger and has four batteries instead of three and it seems to have quite a bit more battery life before you have to swap out batteries. All of the functions work fantastic and it is a very usable and handy light and it’s very comfortable to wear on your head all day3 MONTH UPDATE..4 batteries in this model are a pain to change. I was using a paper strip under the left side battery because you can’t get it out even with long fingernails. I’ve got tired of messing with the paper strip to put android every time I change batteries so I just shake the light until the battery gets loose sure I can get under it pull it out. Doing this causes the hinge to get loose it has twice came unattached and it’s not really easy to get back on there. On several occasions I’ve not been able to get the light to work after change the batteries because the batteries are real finicky to get in there to get them to work there’s really not enough space for four batteries in this light and to work properly 100% of the time. I am going to order the 350 lumens light which is a better working light and almost as bright. After having this light for almost 3 months I would definitely not buy the light again

Night hiked the Sespie River Trail and these were great,I have used a few headlamps ,these are by far the best
