Wood Yarn Holder - with Twirling Mechanism

Really great and affordable way to fly thru yarn cakes. Makes crochet and knit so easy wherever I am.

I will continue to use it. It's very helpful not to tangle up the yarns.

Spins very quick and smooth. The top and bottom are held together by a wood pin though, and it’s not held in by anything. It will fall into 3 separate pieces with the little pin flying off if it falls over, gets tipped, isn’t putting away super carefully. Also is not designed to hold top heavy yarn balls so if the weight is mostly at the top and it will tip over and fall apart. Also if using store bought yarn balls when you get to the strands that are near the bottom they will slip off the bottom and get wrapped around the pin. Good thing that it’s easy to take apart.

I gave this rating because mine has a quality issue. There was a staple or metal piece that was tearing up the yarn. I had to have my son take it out and smooth it before I could use it again. Please do a quality check before shipping them out.

I was sad to open up this package to find the yarn holder I recover was not what is pictured or described... mine was brown, had a super sharp point at the ball holder and was extra thick making it unusable for holding yarn... sent back :(
