1 Pack Of Red/Orange Henna Hair & Beard Color/Dye 100 Grams - Natural Hair Color, Plant-based Hair Dye - The Henna Guys

I have enjoyed using this product for a few years. It covers my gray hair perfectly. I have my tips and tricks to help. First, I deep cleanse my hair a day or two before applying the henna to remove all oil. I follow the instructions on the package and keep it on my hair longer for a few hours or I sleep overnight with it in my hair. I mixin a few drops of my favorite essential oils to give it a nice fragrance. I also enjoy adding real aloe vera gel or some of Henna Sooq's Amla powder or other herbal treatments to my hair. The next day, I gently rinse out with cool to cold water only. After one week, I gently shampoo while soaking in a warm bath to release all of the henna. I massage my scalp and use a soft silicone brush to stimulate my locs from roots to tips. I use black towels to dry my hair. I enjoy using Taliah Wajiid products to shampoo, oil and condition my scalp. I recently cut about 20 inches of my locs off for a nice shoulder length bob and the color really pops! The quality of the product and shipping is consistent.

Ive been using this dye for years its still my favorite! I only have to use it every 6 months if that. The color is so bright and vibrant and most of all very natural looking. It can tend to dry your hair out but if you read the instructions fully they warn you it might. conditioner is your best friend for a couple days after but its definitely my go to!

Great product, gives me gorgeous natural looking ginger hair. Noted i am a natural ash blonde. Of course some color washes out but over all most the color stays, me only needing to touch up my roots. Doesnt damage my hair like other hair dyes. Ive been using it for over 2 year. P.s i love the smell of it.

So I’ve been using this stuff for a few months in the shade red/orange. I really like the color I get from it after leaving it on overnight. It isn’t too crazy but is a nice orange color. I really love bright red hair so this worked nicely to get the look I wanted. However, the process of dying my hair (I have to bleach it first because I have really dark hair naturally) takes a really long time and despite the package saying I don’t have to use the whole thing for my almost shoulder length hair, I have to routinely buy this stuff and the bleach in order to keep up with it (which isn’t super affordable). So I decided after several months of having to touch up every week-two weeks to buy the dark brown henna to go back to my natural color for a while. It is a two step process which is kind of a pain, it took me a full day and night to complete. And again - I only have shoulder length hair but I had to use the full package. My hair isn’t particularly thick, either. But it covered relatively well - although I could’ve gotten a few pieces better so they’re still pretty orange-y. It wasn’t as dark as I wanted but I’m going to have to cover up those orange pieces anyway so I guess it’s whatever. It’s a start, at least. I gave 4 stars because I’ve found a few larger pieces and what kinda feels like stones in the powder before. I’ve also noticed some packages seem to not dye quite as well as others, despite doing the same steps every time. Nonetheless, I do like the product and I would recommend it. It didn’t damage my hair or anything and I was able to bleach over it when I put blonde in my bangs without it doing anything weird. Included pictures will show with full red, red and blonde (and my natural growth coming through), step one of dark brown, then the final result after step two.

My daughter and I have both naturally dark blonde hair and have been using this brand of henna for years. It gives our hair a beautiful red color and leaves it very conditioned. The henna is easy to prepare and apply. It doesn't turn clumpy and freezes well. My hair is a little past the shoulder blades and I use one package whereas my daughter's hair is well past her tailbone and we use two packages for her.

Giving 2 star because I'm never using it again. Oh boy, I did love the color and the softness of my hair after, but it smelled HORRIBLE! No joke, I almost threw up several times while doing it, and only could stand to have it on my head for a little less than 2hrs. The bathtub was disgusting when I tried to wash it all out of my head, even after I rinsed it out multiple times the water was still nasty. The next day I had to break down and shampooed&conditioned my hair because my hair still smelled so bad! Even after that I couldnt get the swamp smell out of my hair! Also after a 4th rinse, the smell still wasnt out of my hair and ended up dying one of my work shirts and ruining it. I personally hated my experience, but the color is beautiful, so I mean, take a risk if youd like, and get it. Its actually great but heads up about the horrid smell.

OH MY GODS I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Idk what people were talking about when they said it smells bad…it literally smelled like matcha. I loved it. But it’s perfect and so easy to use. I attached two pictures of my hair the next day after dying and washing, and one of my hair before the henna. I poured 8 tbsps into a bowl, added lemon juice (the squeezy bottle kind) a cup of chamomile tea and green tea mixed, and a dash of black coffee until it looked like pancake batter. I only let mine sit for about 6 hours before applying bc I used really hot tea and coffee so it weirdly ‘cooked’ faster. There was some red oil sitting on the top and the top layer looked like gauc that had been sitting out, so I mixed and tested it on my palm. Put a small dot, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Rubbed it off, and it was bright Orange! So I applied for 2 hours. Easy enough to rinse out. Rinsed with warm water, and then towards the end some conditioner, and finished it with cold water. Looked Ariel red when it was wet, but dried into Merida red, which is what I was going for lol. Love it! I also have a full undercut, which I also dyed and left on for the whole 2 hours. Def will need a touch up as it grows out, but that’s fine! I also did my eyebrows. I used an old eyebrow dip brow brush and left it for 10 min. Next time will do longer, it didn’t stay very well lol. But has a red tint for sure!! Will definitely be dyeing my hair with this from now on. So much better than chemical dyes. AND on top of that!!! It only came in a day!! Less than 24 hours!!!! My impulsiveness was very happy about that lol. But this stuff is permanent as heck, so make sure you really want red hair lol!! Gave my boyfriend and I some awful henna tattoos with the little that was left in the bowl lol! Didn’t stain my skin for very long, which is cool bc they looked awful. But my ears and neck didn’t stain even tho they were COATED. Washed off in the shower. WOULD 2000000% RECOMMEND!!!

We have tried several henna brands, and this one is the most vibrant so far. Love it.
