The Gospel in the Stars or Primeval Astronomy, Annotated and Illustrated.

This was an amazingly well documented overview of ancient history and the complicated mathematical positioning of the planets . Chapter 16 shows the connection between Adam and Enoch and Noah and Abraham - information could have been passed from person-to-person by word-of-mouth from Abraham to the Egyptians - there is even an explanation for the positioning of the pyramids . Clearly the wisdom of our Creator and the prophecies regarding our Savior Jesus Christ our Lord are brilliantly touched upon in this book, researched and written in the late 1800s.

Joseph Seiss explains how God has placed the stars in patterns that tell the truth about Jesus as the Son of God and Savior of humanity. The evidence for this can be seen in the placement of the constellations, which display the message of the Creator.

If you are interested in the subject this is the best book on it.

Great book very interesting ideas

Read the book a few years ago and my copy was lost. It's so informative and gives you what you need to have a intelligent conversation with New Age believers.

Interesting. I'm not sure however that authors actually get it all straight before writing; I think our understanding is always imperfect and that we fill in the gaps of our knowledge with 'intuitive leaps' that sound good but are based on little. It's a human flaw, and in part driven by readers- who 'want it all, now'!It did fill in some gaps for me, I think, but I'm always ready to be shown that there is more. I have no doubt that the premise is correct, that God put the story of redemption in the stars; he wrote it everywhere, even, apparently in our DNA! However I think we must be careful how we put things together. Sometimes a jigsaw puzzle piece will fit and look right in the wrong place.
