very great monitor!
This Asus VA24DQ monitor is just GREAT! After a simple setup to your particular parameters it is very clear, colors are great, very easy to use and setup. The 24 inch size was exactly what I needed and the refresh rate was great at 75 HZ. I used the HDMI cable to connect to p.c., and you also have a choice to use display port. A great monitor for a great price !!.

Not to confuse NVIDIA GSYNC with adaptive sync -- manual: G-Sync is NOT supported - updated
Update: compared to an ASUS PA27JCV for $800, this actually is a very good monitor. Despite the increase in resolution, it is difficult to see the difference with photos downloaded. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The color palette can be adjusted on each and I get fairly close to the JCV. In the Amazon description: "Supports both Adaptive-Sync with NVIDIA GeForce* graphics cards and FreeSync with AMD Radeon graphics cards *Compatible with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series, GTX 16 series, RTX 20 series and newer graphics cards". It does NOT support G-SYNC which the manual shows and the description does not state just to be clear. A blog said "gtx 1060 supports adaptive v sync, it also supports fast sync". Probably not confusing to an avid gamer which I am not. So it doesn't really matter to me but at first glance may be confusing. The manual has an X by NVIDIA G-SYNC: NVIDIA G-SYNC ✗ AMD FreeSync ✓ Low Blue Light technology ✓ Flicker-free technology ✓ VESA Adaptive Sync support ✓ AMD FreeSync type FreeSync I think this ASUS VA24DQ has great color and intensity out of the box. I checked it with the Windows 10 Calibrate Display Monitor and didn't change anything. I noticed the color intensity and depth immediately. I wanted a VESA mount to get the monitor off the desk top. It is sufficiently wide and high for general computing which is all I do with it (23.8 inch diagonal). With a Display Port, HDMI and VGA (sub-D) it should work well for many people. This replaces my 32 inch curved display which frankly was too large for general computing.

Asus can't be beat
I've purchased 5 monitors this year. I guess I became a collector since the prices are so much lower now for a good monitor. I used to pay $400 for a monitor and they weren't as good as what you can get for around $100 now. I have three 22 inch monitors. The only one I don't like is the ViewSonic. It seems like old technology and I cannot get the color adjusted to my liking and the fonts sometimes seem kind of blurred, giving me eyestrain. I mssed the return window so am stuck with a piece of junk. I also have a Samsung 24". The picture is good and it's solidly built. I do wish it had IPS technology though because the picture doesn't change when you look at it from different angles. I use these for office work at home so know nothing about the gaming aspect. It's a good buy and you can't go wrong with ASUS.

A decent work monitor
For Slack & email this gets the job done. Will it run well when gaming? No. But that's not why I bought it. I like that it is black and the 24" size is what I needed at me desk. I can't say if the legs are stable because I never used them. It was easy to setup and adjust using the controls and I feel it was his value for money. I will upgrade next year to a 4k and I will look at Asus when I do. It's the one on the right in my photos.

Love this!!!
I'll admit that the 1st one I received developed an issue within the first 24 hours I was utilizing it. However, during the time I was able to use it, I loved it! So being familiar with the ASUS brand, I decided to exchange that one - Amazon was great about it and got a new one out to me very quickly. The 2nd monitor has worked just fine without any issues at all. A couple of notes; 1) Connectors: The monitor I received has 1 of each; VGI, HDMI, and a display port 2) The picture quality is clear, clean, and crisp. There are portions of my desktop image that you can't see on my older monitors but can see on this one. Note; I'm using this monitor primarily for work, and when I screen share for meetings, I've been told the crispness translates there as well. 3) I'm not sure of all of the details around the eye care technology; but I can say that I feel the difference using this monitor at the end of the day. I have noticed that it is not nearly as "blue" as my other monitors are, with the display providing a warmer, easier to look at coloring.

another great asus product
screen does what it should. I would have ordered from new eeg or elsewhere as I am not huge on getting electronics from here but I was able to get next day delivery so it was worth it. Screen def has the blue reduction on it and does not strain the eyes as much. i sit at a computer all day and have 2 of these. For the price they are good screens. they do not have speakers which is fine but overall I would recommend. These are just as good as any higher end screens out there

Great dual workflow monitors
I was searching for a pair of cheaper panels that would work for a dual monitor workflow that would complement COVID induced work-from-home. This monitor fit the bill and it hasn't disappointed me. Given the price, I am fine with the presence of one dead pixel on one of the panels (it wasn't there on arrival), and I don't really notice it. I really appreciate the 75 Hz refresh rate on panels of this price, as 75 Hz is my bottomline for screen flicker and animations. The color of the panel is great (honestly looks almost as good as my $400 Samsung monitor). For the build: good bezels, great weight, and sturdy VESA mount points (100mm x 100mm). Package comes with 1x 6ft HDMI, 1x 6ft DP, and a disappointingly short 3ft AC power cable. Word of caution - if you care about and notice screen resolution - don't buy a 1080p desktop monitor any larger than 24". You will see the pixelization when your face is 2ft away.

new monitor for my desktop
Usually not writing reviews but I will try this time. The monitor is not bad, It took me a week to compare features, prices, and different brands but this one stands out with a few qualities. The monitor has a display port and it is VESA compatible. Basically, this is all I wanted. It comes at a decent price for below $150 and there is a display port cable in the box, so this right there saves you the extra $10 on a cable. I am happy with the picture, it is good brightness and it frameless which gives you more screen surface, I guess. The only thing that I am not too happy about, it is the weight. it is a heavy monitor and if you would be mounting it might not be the best for that purpose.

Great basic monitor
Good quality, basic monitor. I have 2 of them that i use in my home office (remote worker). No issues even after 3 years of using them. The only thing is that the height doesn't adjust, so I just had to buy monitor stands.

Very solid 1080p monitor
Bought this in a pinch to replace my second monitor that died. It has really thin bezels and worked right out of the box. It took a bit of adjusting to match my main monitor's color profile, but otherwise, I encountered no issues. I like that it has a solid round base, unlike some other monitors with oddly shaped bases.

Great Choice
For the price this is a nice monitor. The seamless bezel is really nice for my 3 screen setup. I am not a gamer so the super duper resolution is not missed. I draw with AutoCAD and the resolution is perfect. I would recommend and/or buy again.
