If the most important need is for dry hair, this is the one to get. I color my hair often and don't want pool chemicals to affect it. This cap is not for competition swimmers as it has resistance in the water; that's why those "speedo" type / olympic slick caps were designed. I may get wet hair at the very edges but the majority of my scalp stays dry.
