Seafrogs for Canon G7X Mark II 40m/130ft Underwater Housing Camera Diving Waterproof Housing case(Housing + Red Filter)

I’ve owned a few underwater cameras and GoPro’s. The photo quality has always lacked or the ease of use has been cumbersome. This water housing was on my radar for 2 summers and I finally decided I needed it for a trip to Hawaii. Once I took it out of the box, placed my Canon in it, I was confident! All the buttons lined up, worked as they should, and it had a really felt sturdy! Once I got it in the water I was shocked at how well it floated! I brought it on a 10 day trip and snorkeled in 5 different location, not to mention many pool trips at the condo. I took the camera in and out of the housing multiple times and each time the housing kept water out and nothing started to get flimsy or wanky over time. Only struggle was seeing the monitor underwater. After my first trip in the pool and not being able to see the display I took the camera out of the housing and turned up the brightness to 100%. I also turned off eco mode so the camera stayed on as I swam around. Couple other notes from actual divers, rinse off the housing, while closed, after each water exposure. Pool chemicals and saltwater will age your housing quickly.

I have taken this out on water trips, it has served my purpose very well. I have not tried to take it under water though.

Used this on scuba trip with a cannon. Best experience ever using this setup. Recommend better instructions or write a manual to go with. Had to do lots of research to use and maintain.

Just got it, it looks sick, but didn’t come with any silicone grease.
