Really impressed with service. The card was in good condition. Only problem was I could not remove the tall adapter and install the low profile one that was provided as the small screw securing it was too tight, so will have to take it to specialist shop to fix so I can use it.

The product life of these NVIDIA cards gets shorter and shorter so make sure before you buy that you check out either the PNY or NVIDIA website to see if a new, improved, and/or cheaper option is available.First, this card has 512MB of GDDR3 memory and not the 256MB the Amazon page currently shows as of this review.Secondly, The "LP" stands for Low Profile, which means the card will fit into a SFF (small form factor) computer case. If you have a SFF computer, you need a LP card.Third, watch how much wattage your choice of graphics card draws. Most folk make sure that their PC has a compatible PCIe slot available (ideally a version 1.1 or 2.0 and a x16 speed slot) but don't check to make sure either their PC power supply or the slot itself can support the wattage these Quadro cards can draw. The FX 380 LP draws only up to 28 watts maximum (compared to other Quadros that can draw hurdreds of watts) which, for the host computer I was using, was already pushing it. The Quadro FX 380 LP is a "starter" NVIDIA graphics card even within the Entry Level category, but gets five stars for its small profile, low power requirements, and reasonable price.

this video card is working well for me and is approved by avid to work without any conflicts with protools. i have used other video cards without any issues with protools however i just wanted to get one that is definitely approved by avid so i would be sure i didnt have any problems on my most recent build.

Don't know if something's wrong with it, but the fan is incredibly noisy when it kicks in

Luckly the site had drivers for windows 10, I used the ones for lab top worked fine. My leveno older used computer and works fine. The shipping was fast. Item was clean and new condition.
