Alteya Organics Organic Rose Water Spray, 3.4 FZ

This rose water toner is the bees knees of all rose toners! And NO, I did NOT get this item for free or at a reduced cost for my "unbiased" opinion. I bought it with my hard earned money. I've tried several different kinds of toners and this one is my favorite thus far. It does smell like roses which is pleasing to my nose. I love how you can either spray it on your face and just leave it on or apply it with a cotton ball. It has beautiful packaging and is fairly large in size. I really appreciate that's it's 100% organic as well. My skin feels so soft after its applied and is NEVER irritated. The last one I bought from Amazon called "InstaNatural" made my face SO RED. It had so many rave reviews but just was terrible for my face. So I'm really happy I purchased this because my facial redness and pretty much disappeared. I truly love this product. It's free of toxins, irritants, fillers and is just awesome!! I give it two thumbs up!

I spray this every day on my face before applying serums and moisturizer. It’s hydrating, smells wonderful, and helps other face products glide on smooth. Compared to other rose waters I’ve bought, this one is high value for the cost.

After considerable online research, I learned that the rosewater I wanted was one that was distilled specifically for the purpose of manufacturing rosewater, not one that was water with added rose oil or that was the byproduct of rose oil production. Enter Alteya. I bought this to use as a facial spray but it's so delightful that I'm also using it as an all-over post-bath spray, not to mention as a food additive (yes, it's food grade). I realize that not everyone perceives fragrances the same way, so to those who find this objectionable, my response is "your loss." This product has so much more than one-dimensional "rose" going for it--it's also green, juicy, and honey-like. Most importantly, it feels wonderful on my face--very calming and soothing. Mind you, it's not the only skincare product I use but misting my face and neck with it is always my first step after my evening cleansing. A friend recently commented on how nice my skin is, so I gave her some! In fact, I've bought Alteya Rose AND Lavender water since for friends and family; everyone loves them and no one's complaining about "off" odors. Bottom line: give it a try in the small Miron glass bottle. Alteya sells larger sizes that can be used to refill the lovely Swiss-manufactured bottles; just make sure to keep everything in the fridge between uses. I've since bought all of Alteya's water toners--I can't even choose a favorite and like to rotate my use of them in the morning. Rose, however, is used every night. :)

I bought this for my wife, at her request and this is what she has to say about the product. " It is a beautiful bottle and presentation. It was a perfect addition for my vanity. The expiration date of 6/2018 is perfect, so it is a fresh product. That said, it is the first time I purchase rose water so I am not sure how it is supposed to smell, and the truth is that I am not in total love with the smell of the water. But it could be that I don"t like the smell of rose water in general, not the Alteya brand in particular.. As for my skin, i think it is a great tonic and I already can feel my skin softer and more moisturized. Plus even though I am not in love with the smell, I do feel uplifted when i spray it in the morning. Does that make sense? Hope this helps!"

August 26,2018. I am updating my review. I purchased this for the second time. The shipping took 6 days after placing an order. It was okay. This time, the mist was fine and came out evenly. So, that made me think my last one was malfunction. I made my own toner by using this wonderful rose water. I added blue yarrow extract and prickly pear extract to make more soothing and healing effect for my hypersensitive acne prone skin. And the result, it's working for my skin. I am glad that I have tried. I will purchase Alteya Rose Water again. My previous review: It smells good. Price matches the quality. I like the Amber glass bottle. However, I took one star out because the mist is terrible. It does not come out evenly. It is more like spray, not mist.

My face loves it. My nose, not as much. But what I did was add it to my DIY toner for added benefit. I already had a toner I had made with geranium and frankincense so I added the rose water to it. When they say it picks you up. It's so true! It really does. Rose is a high frequency plant and you can feel it lift you up. I just wishes it smelled better but if you're looking for that fake, pursue rose scent, you won't get it. Because this is all natural. That's the price you pay sometimes when using natural ingredients. They don't all smell good. It doesn't smell bad at all just not what we women have been lied to with all the fake fragrance out there. I find no cons about this whatsoever. I would recommend. My skin feels fabulous. I use it everyday with my essential oils. And it's a great addition!

This stuff is the real deal. I was quite cautious and did a lot of research before purchasing this, and I’m so glad I did. The scent is very natural and 1/3 bottle in is just as good as when I first opened it, it is pure and not filled with anything artificial. It smells beautifully delicate, and light enough to spray on anything. The bottle itself is also great, really sturdy and it has a good nozzle for a good spray, not a weak one so it doesn’t dribble everywhere. I like that the bottle is also dark to help keep it’s potency. I suppose there is no real way of knowing if it is 100% organic bulgarian rose water from what it claims however it’s been impressive so far. I am using it as a toner after I wash my face and before my skincare routine (serums/moisturisers) etc, specifically for the anti-inflammitary and healing properties on my acne skin. It hasn’t broken me out at all, in fact it has added moisture and I’ve seen an improvement since using it for sure. It’s not a miracle product though, like everything, so you have to use it in combination with a skincare routine that is right for you, on a continual basis. Even if it didn’t help my skin I would still probably continue to use it as it is so refreshing and smells amazing. You can even use it to spray around the room or as a perfume. LOVE!
