I’m not a tech geek. I bought a Walmart laptop thinking brand new means good - it does not. I’m mostly excited because the switch was super easy and I was able to DIY it in less than 10 mins with no experience. But the fact that it immediately made a difference - I’m very happy. After 4.5 years, my ASUS VivoBook 15 M513IA (8GB RAM) was running slow, so I could either attempt to upgrade it or buy a new laptop. $700 or $75 (including the price of the tools to do it)? ....the choice was easy. I did my research, compared products and brands, and checked compatibility and installation information (Crucial has a lot of helpful info on their site). All told, the installation took about 20 minutes- the hardest part was getting the back of the laptop off- and I went from 8GB to 24GB with no hiccups. In the 10 months since installation, I've had no issues and less lag. Please, don't be scared of doing your own upgrades, but do your research.

Paid $699 for my sons Asus Tuf F15 FX506HF-ES51 and for price and fact you can EASILY add second ram stick or replace both and add second SSD inside was the real deal finish. figured the 8Gigs wouldn’t be able to handle much so I I bought 2 of these Crucial 16G ram sticks ($56 for the pair) to put in my sons Asus Tuf F15 FX506HF-ES51 giving him 32Gigs of Ram and worked perfect. YouTubed how to put in but easy. Just put inside close and done. So decided to also order a Crucial P3 1TB SSD ($38) to put inside as he has secondary SSD slot inside. (Our laptops have 3rd gen SSD slots so buying a 4th gen is pointless). That was just as easy and simple to Format. So I decided to buy the same laptop and then bought 2 32 gig ram sticks from crucial ($100) giving me 64Gigs of Ram, and the same 1 TB solid-state drive for mine and they’ve all done really well. Crucial has been great and reasonably priced thus far. And the laptops have been great and has played some hardcore games. I plan to do some Divinci video editing. So for basically $800 give or take have a Asus Gaming Tuf laptop with 64Gigs of ram and 500TB SSD and 1TB SSD.

Works great with the Asus Zephyrus G16, in addition to what was already pre-installed. Buying it for 30 eur last july was pretty lucky I guess.

Ho deciso di potenziare la memoria del mio computer portatile con questo banco di RAM Crucial da 16GB DDR4 a 3200MHz (modello CT16G4SFRA32A) e sono estremamente soddisfatto del risultato. La mia valutazione è semplice: memoria ottima e velocissima! L'impatto sulle prestazioni del laptop è stato immediato e notevole. Il sistema è diventato molto più reattivo: l'avvio è più rapido, le applicazioni si aprono sensibilmente più in fretta e, soprattutto, la gestione del multitasking è migliorata drasticamente. Ora posso tenere aperte più schede del browser, usare programmi più esigenti o passare da un'applicazione all'altra senza più quei fastidiosi rallentamenti o impuntamenti.
