I'm not sure my temperature control works. It seems to be on HOT!!! Melts the solder faster than my 100w soldering gun no matter where I put the little dial. Appears fragile compared to 25w Weller but very small, balanced, seems much more controllable than the much better built Weller. I mainly wanted an 80w for one or two projects and it's cheap.
