A: Yes they are waterproof- I walked thru a slough at high tide with water just above my waist and was not wet.

They are made of material similar to an air mattress, so there will be moisture inside from your body, so be sure to hang them up, fully upright so the moisture can dry full.

My adult daughter is a fishing enthusiast, including wading out into a local river that has a very rocky bottom to fish for bass. I ordered these waders for her, and she was so excited that she went fishing the same evening these arrived. She described these waders as "a game changer!" (She had previously picked up a pair of "emergency waders" locally but the bottoms of the feet ripped the first time she used those.)The boots are sturdy, and she was comfortably able to walk on the rocks. The fabric is high quality and appears to be durable. And the price is remarkably modest for the quality involved. What a great find!

Babies are oversized which should be disclosed - but beyond that I had no issues with these waders. Used them while using power washer so not fully submerged but they were very functional and I saw no signs of leakage.
