Straight facts ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great but lacks protein for endurance workouts *by S***N on September 29, 2020* It’s a great product, tried it this month on a half ironman (6.5 hrs) and on a 50K trail run (6 hrs) with no side effects whatsoever and no cramping. Very easy to digest and the Naked flavor is actually great. But I had to take a protein bar 2/3 into the 50K run (very exhausting/hilly) to get back my mental clarity and better energy. Learned from other ultra runners (and other products) since then that protein is needed for very long workouts to prevent a drop in sugar levels. Will always use protein from now on, in addition to the energy nutrition. Will probably not renew if the competing product, which has 4g of protein per serving, works better. But otherwise this is an excellent product for shorter events! 10/2/2020 update: Tailwind Nutrition promptly clarified for me how to add protein to the fueling strategy, and it’s a great idea. Giving this a 5-star now! Response: "It's actually even easier...just use straight Rebuild as it contains glucose and sucrose, similar to our Endurance Fuel.
