Professional Culinary Torch. This is a versatile tool that makes you more efficient in the kitchen while adding the perfecting touches to your dishes. Your guests will take note of your attention to detail. It might be the crispy skin on a salmon fillet you prepared sous vide or the toasted cheese on an 8 year old's grilled cheese sandwich or the perfectly browned dessert. When you are making a tomato sauce this is the practical tool to quickly remove the tomato skin. The CounterTop torch deserves a spot on your counter.

Sketchy Dependability
I like the size, weight, and looks of this torch, but it periodically shoots out HUGE flames at start up-as if there is gas released in a larger amount than should be. If this weren't aimed in the right direction when this occurs-which isn't always-it could catch something/someone on fire!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION NOT CLEAR
Thought it took pre-purchased butane bottles. I don't like having to re-fill or re-charge the cylinder!

Piece of junk
Bought it because of discount price. There was a problem with the seal and the torch would not hold butane. So butane leaked and removed the glue from between the torch and the outer canister. Looks and feels cheap

Small but mighty
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Small enough so it can be accessible for your torching needs.Controls are easy and I like the safety feature it has. The nozzle doesn't get too hot when used so, when there's an accidental skin to nozzle (not the tip) brushing, it wouldn't cause alot of damage. So, be careful still.Filling up is easy as well. Just had to equalize the pressure so the butane from the re-filler would have space inside the tank. By pressing the igniter all the way down (and after the spark turns completely off); you are opening the chamber inside the device. As soon as you press the butane tank on the fill port of the torch, you'd release the igniter button. This might take a couple of secs. There's not indicator or a window to see if the torch tank is full. The only way to know is when the fill port starts "whizzing" with some vapor escaping, then you know that its "full".It was a pleasure to have tested this item from the seller at a discounted price without any obligation of positive review. As a consumer and shopper, I rely on honest reviews, to base my decision on buying things. I depend on other consumers on their truthful and detailed experience as I don't have to go into trouble of having a product that is not adequate. And as always, if you found this review helpful, click and vote YES so, that others will know!. Thank you and have a great day.
