Second, I had to adjust the seat post height, since this saddle is quite a bit thicker (taller) that the piece of concrete I used to sit on. Third, possibly due to the slight geometry change, I had a bit of inner thigh pain - maybe due to previously lesser-used muscles being used more. All 3 were minor: I got used to the feeling of being more forward after only a few rides, and the leg pain disappeared quickly. Honestly, this saddle completely changed not only my rides, but my riding. My new ebike came with this ridiculous, over the top squishy, slippery, too wide and TOO HOT saddle. Seriously. It looked like they had attached a tiny couch to my new bike. Ugh. I replaced that awful thing with this. It’s not exactly hard, but there’s not a lot of give. That said, I find it comfortable. And the cut out in the middle of the saddle is something I’m used to. Does it supply air flow and protect my privates from pressure? I guess. Maybe. I do know my crotch doesn’t get as hot as it did with the mini couch. Or one of those gel saddle covers. Those things are terrible. I found the install easy. I took off one star because the saddle could be softer in the sit bones area.
