Every once in a while when I used my phone as my alarm clock, I would swear it just didn’t go off. Finally decided to get a real alarm clock and gave this one a try. The alarm is super loud and that alone would wake me up. The bed vibration puck is a cherry on top. It helps my body wake up instead of just destroying my ears. There are only a few buttons on the top of the clock. I feel like I hit the wrong ones when I wake up but it does not mess with the clock somehow. It is easy to use and change alarm and/or clock time. The sound, vibration, and lcd light levels are all adjustable which I really appreciate. It is also nice and minimal. The build could be better but it’s an alarm clock not a phone case so I can overlook it. Would definitely get it again

This clock is great. I take medications that will sometimes knock me out and my old alarm, my phone ringing etc would not wake me up. With the vibrating puck does wake me up enough to hear and recognize the alarm going off. I have it placed underneath my sheets in the middle of the bed under my pillows. PROS: ++Large display that is dimmable ++Can set to use 24hr time. Helps when not paying attention and setting alarm for 6am instead of 6pm (18:00) ++The vibrating puck is great and strong enough to wake me up. Also has a long enough cord to place it where I want. ++ Has dual alarms.. helpful to me and I set them 15 minutes apart to make sure I wake up since sometimes it’s hard for me to wake up. ++Has USB power out so you can charge phone or ?? Straight from clock. Though it not a Fast charger. CONS: —Too many small buttons on top. Wishing some of them like button to set clock was on back or side. —Snooze bar too small. When fumbling around trying to hit snooze too easy to hit another button that turns off alarm. Would be better if certain rarely used buttons were moved to back or side, or they were placed closer to the top edges to make snooze bar larger. —The slip on feet… have no idea why they aren’t attached. They slip off too easily. —The battery backup for power failure ONLY keeps time in memory and clock/alarm does not work. So if power goes out when you’re supposed to get up you’re out of luck but when power does come back on… at least you don’t have to reset time. —Runs off a usb power brick so need about 3.5” clearance to plug adapter into wall. Have mine plugged into a power strip but may be problem if trying to plug into outlet behind bed or cabinet. Also uses usb A connector into power adapter instead of being hard wired into it. So it ‘may’ come unplugged. OVERALL: Very pleased with this clock due to the 24hr time format (it is switchable to am/pm) and the strong enough vibration of the puck. The wire for the puck is long enough for placement and I have it placed under my sheets. Do wish it had a rubberized or some other coating on the bottom so it wouldn’t slide around as easily. Like this clock so much that I bought one for my friend and he is also pleased with it. My biggest pet peaves with this clock is the multitude of closely placed buttons and the smallish snooze button and the fact that the battery backup is only to save the time and not operate the clock/alarm. Overall happy with this clock and can deal with the not so good things.

First off I want to say the alarm is not ridiculously loud at all as my '930 father could not hear it even up to his ear... But! The vibrator I thought was going to give him a heart attack. He said that thing went off and scared him to death but he wasn't late for church and now he's used to it and like he said there is no waiting it's immediately get up and turn the alarm off as to vibrator could possibly wake the dead. If you want a loud alarm also this is not the one. It's extremely lightweight and falls over very easily even with the provided two little leg stands. I do like the fact that you can dim it and even turn it down to almost off. It's easy even for an old man to set and the vibrator is extremely powerful. I don't know about longevity we will see but for now the price point and just the vibrating alone is guaranteed to wake you up.

My 10-year old vibrating alarm clock stopped working. I shopped around and bought this one. I seldom write reviews. But I am so satisfied that I'd like to share my experience with everybody. I hope that the manufacturer reads reviews, as I'll mention one thing that I hope they can take into consideration when they design their next model in the future. Pros: 1. This alarm clock uses two AAA batteries as back-up during power outage. AAA batteries are cheaper and less bulky tnan 9V battries that my old alarm clock used to use. 2. The display is bigger and brighter than my old alarm clock's display. 3. I really like the DST function. It works like this: You first set the clock time to your local Standard Time. Then in March when DST begins, you push the DST button. It adds one hour ("springs forward") to the clock time. In November when DST ends, you push the DST button again. It subtracts one hour ("falls back"). There is a small indicator on the screen to tell you if it is in DST mode. I wish that the DST function can be automated. But I imagine that it'll make the cost higher. At this price point, I am happy enough with this simple button. 4. It has two alarm buttons ("Alarm 1" and "Alarm 2") so that you can set two different alarm times. I only need one to wake me up in the morning. But some people may find the second alarm time useful. 5. The vibrator works as advertised. It shakes me out of my bed. I don't use the ringer. So, I can't comment on that. Cons: 1. There are two buttons, "Alarm Pause" and "Alarm Off". When the alarm goes off in the morning, you press "Alarm Pause" to stop the alarm for the day. It will go off again tomorrow morning. If you press "Alarm Off", it turns off the alarm completely. That is, the alarm won't go off until you turn it back on by pressing some other button. So far, so good. Here is the problem: These two buttons are right next to each other. So, in the morning, the alarm goes off, you get out of the bed, still kinda sleepy, you want to press the "Alarm Pause" button to stop the alarm. But if your finger slips and presses the "Alarm Off" button by mistake, then you'll wake up the next morning 2 hours late, wondering why the alarm didn't go off. My suggestion to the manufacturer: When you design your next model, consider relocating the "Alarm Off" button to an entirely different place. I'd suggest move it to the right side, next to the "Ring/Vib" button. I still give this product 5 stars, because I consider this shortcoming quite minor. I'll simply make the habit of checking the "Alarm On" indicator on the display every night before I go to sleep.

Works great! Wakes up this heavy sleeper immediately. Also, my bed Shaker stopped working after the 18 month window where they replace it and I contacted support and they apologized and offered to send me a whole new clock. It arrived within the week. Very rare to find such great customer service these days. Thank you very much!

I always kept this alarm face down on the ground to minimize light with the bed shaker under my pillow. Recently at 3:00AM, many hours before it was set to go off, it suddenly started vibrating and ringing. I woke up and reached down to shut it off and felt water, turns out there was almost an inch of water that had flooded the basement causing the alarm to malfunction and go off early. I was fast asleep and am a heavy sleeper, if not for this alarm it would likely have been several more hours before I'd woken up. At that point the water could have reached outlets and even more electronics, potentially making contact with the water fatal. Would that have happened? Would I have actually died? Idk probably not. But nonetheless catching the flood so early 100% saved a lot of my belongings. Obviously that isn't what the alarm clock was designed to do, but it would feel wrong to not give it 5 stars after what happened. Actual review: it's not as loud as I would want it to be, and it would be nice if there was more than one alarm tone. I would have liked for the cord to the puck to be more like 10-12 feet so I could place the alarm far enough away to force me to get out of bed when it goes off, as it stands I can on occasion turn the alarm off without actually waking up. The vibrating puck is great when working with another alarm though, it goes off to start me getting up and then 1 minute later my much louder alarm goes off. Because it can't function as my only alarm, I would give this a 4 star review if not for the aforementioned situation.

Great clock and vibrator while it lasted. Didn't love the color as it could get pretty bright. Also, after 2+ years, the end of the wires stripped, and I had to get rid of it. I expected better quality than that.

I bought this clock because you can also charge your phone, which eliminates a few chords on the nightstand. The numbers are a good size for sleepy eyes in the middle of the night and, the brightness can be dimmed or heighted based on your sensitivity to light at night. It is easy to program. Accurate (so far!) and certainly a fair price. What makes me crazy is the placement of the buttons for the alarms. I guess they have put the buttons on the sides (where you touch them every single time to move the clock!) so it would be easy to set the alarms (there are two of them). But, I don't use this as an alarm and every time I move the clock I forget and hit one of the alarms--only when I am awakened in the middle of the night or too early on Saturday that I realize I have hit the darn thing. Yes, I realize this is my problem and I should be more cognizant of what I am doing, but, sometimes you just do things automatically and do not realize. Anyway, forewarned is forearmed! Otherwise the clock is nice looking, easy to use and and of good quality.

The overall look of this alarm clock is really good. It has it all and everything works well. Every feature is easy to use and set. This is important as I had past alarm clocks which were complicated to use so you never get to use its features. The variable brightness of the display is actually useful as past clocks were either too bright or not bright enough at night. The sounds of this clock are excellent, also for heavy sleepers, I am not one of them but for people that have a hard time to get up, this will really work as the shaker really shakes you up. The USB charger charges well for Cells ant Tablets. It also has a power failure feature in case power goes out. The alarm clock is not too big as to take a lot of space and yet it is solid and the numbers are big for visibility. So overall an excellent alarm clock for the price with plenty of user friendly features......Frank

Purchased as a gift for someone who could never wake up and would sleep through any alarm! Sure wish I had a video of the first morning this was used! Comes with attached thumper that provides vibration along with audio alarm to wake you up! Works very well and seems durable. I would definitely recommend this alarm! Price was reasonable and comparable to similar products.

This alarm clock works very well! It helped get my partner, who is a deep sleeper, into a good routine for waking up! Only downside is, even though I have batteries in it, the screen doesn't light up when unplugged from the wall/with the power out. The alarm will still go off in the morning, but there are no numbers. Other than that, it works perfectly! Probably just a defect in the one I got.

Alarm is loud. I am almost deaf and I set the alarm on this clock. I had to be up early in the morning and it actually did wake me up. The clock sits on a dresser about 3 feet from my bed so I have to get up to shut off the alarm. I love the large numbers on the clock. I definitely would recommend this alarm clock for anyone who is hard of hearing.

I've been looking for an effective alarm clock for kids for a while now. The alarm clocks I've bought in the past got bad quicker than I anticipated plus they did not do the part. This alarm is very effective and the bed shaker really shakes you out of slumber. It's easy to use, the brightness level is awesome and I love that you can set more than one alarm. My son wakes up in time and is well trained that he gets up now even if the alarm wasn't pre-set. I only wish the USB port could charge faster and that the batteries by themselves could work with the alarm. The batteries only help you to retain the pre-set time if the cable is unplugged. It would have been great to get alarm working with either batteries alone or cable plugged in. Overall, the alarm is a great purchase and very effective. I'm glad about my purchase.
