I first purchased this battery set in June 2015, and found it excellent. By early 2017, however, while the battery was still fine, the back that was included no longer remained clipped to my phone, even with gentle usage. I submitted a claim to PowerBear with one month remaining in the warranty period -- and they sent me a replacement, back and battery, no questions asked.I have several products from this company. My experience of their quality has been excellent, and, as this story shows, they are rigorous when it comes to standing behind their products. Whenever I'm looking for a charging product, if PowerBear is in the mix, I'll go with PowerBear: even if they aren't always the least expensive, I think that they're always the most economical in the end.

It did extend the battery time significantly in the 1st week. But it did not resolve my problem of the phone shutting off when battery is below 50%. Actually the phone was shut in such a way that I had to take out the battery in order to restart my phone. Not sure if it was related to the battery itself, but I had not had such experience before. I changed back to my old batteries and carry an external power charger. The 3 stars is because the phone became so bulky and heavy that I stopped enjoying using it. Also inconvenient to hold the phone when reading in one hand. And as someone stated, the covered buttons of related cover is difficult to find in the dark. Unfortunately I can not return it as it was over one month since purchase.

The back fits fine on my phone. It snapped on easily enough and all the cut-outs are located appropriately. The extended battery life is much better- I charged my phone to full last night, used it as normal all day, and still have 72% charge at almost 6 pm. Normally I'd have maybe 15% right now. The phone is heavier, but not unpleasantly so, and I can still read my Kindle app with one hand.I really wish more protective cases were available for this style- the few available on Amazon aren't appealing.

This is the greatest battery for this phone. I can use it all day for everything, games, pintrest, email, texting and making calls and it still has more than half power at the end of the evening. I am amazed. the only downside is my otter box won't fit on it any longer because of the size of the battery. I highly recommend this product

Arrived a little later than expected but most likely due to me foolishly clicking the wrong shipping label. Howeva, it was well worth the wait nevertheless. It came at zero percent charge which was a little discomforting as, since its old hardware, it takes a while for it to get to 100% (especially if it's in frequent use as I may have approached it...). Other than that, it's working flawlessly and lasts for as long as you'd expect, if not longer! (approximately 1&1/2 days without charge and constant use). Thoroughly satisfied with this purchase as I am poor and cannot afford a new phone! So I'm making the best of it, and believe me, this is the best battery for an old tech! Not only does the battery life exceed expectations, it is able to withstand the most random and often powerful of impacts (I drop my phone a lot and I am quite tall). Highly recommend this product and I highly recommend the brand/vendor. Very prompt to make sure things are in tip top shape and I'm sure, if ever an issue, they will be just as prompt to resolve anything you may inquire. One thing I will also recommend for someone seeking on purchasing this battery is to make sure to get the casing for it which is sold separately. Anyway, hope this review helps those who are still on the fence!

I just got done testing this Powerbear battery for my trusty Galaxy Note 2 under real world conditions and it's definitely a winner. At first I bought a cheap generic battery manufactured by an unknown Chinese company that was similar in size and but rated double the capacity to the original battery. That was a big mistake since after a month of use, not only did it not last as long as the original but it started to discharge quickly and then the capacity started to go down. I then decided to go for a better quality oversize battery which was the Zerolemon and it was rated 9300mAh and came with a hard protective phone case. I thought for sure this would have been my best solution but it started to get complicated. The hard cover case made it uncomfortable for me to push the power button every time I wanted to check my messages since I had to press down hard each time compared to my old soft silicone gel case which was a gentle push. In addition, the I notice the battery started to discharge more quickly after several charges and given the high capacity and the cost of $46, I decided to return it and try out Powerbear which was $15 cheaper and compare the performance of the two. The result was not only Powerbear had longer stamina given its 6000mAh capacity but it's replacement back cover allowed me to use it as if I bought my phone brand new. Most people would complain that it is slippery but that is why you can buy an extra phone case with the $15 savings since it's comparable to the Zerolemon battery bundle. Highly recommended.

The battery so far is excellent this is really a nice change to have so much reserve and not have to hear the alert that my battery is very low. Now for the price the extended cover that came with it is just cheap and stupid. Charge another $5.00 and give me a solid cover with a material that has some sort of texture that allows you to grip the phone properly and also to not show scratches two days after you got it. Really, no matter if it goes into a purse, your pants pocket, a golf bag you are going to experience scratching on the cover.

the fit was a little bigger hard to close the case. battery did not last very long. It swelled up in the middle of the battery pack. would not use them again
