such a beautiful story
This is part of Armenian folklore, and it is very beautiful. I have grown up with these stories and love them endlessly.

Eastern Armenian with Apeghian Spelling
I was looking for Western Armenian with classical “Mesrobian” spelling. This book is written in Eastern Armenian with Apeghian spelling. I’m disappointed that I didn’t find any info on the spelling or the language before I purchased the book as a gift. Now I have to find something else. It’s a disservice to leave such info out and not include any pages of the text to allow someone to make a more appropriate decision regarding a purchase. Update: Rewriting the text in Western Armenian provided the children a chance to enjoy the book without getting confused about the spelling or grammar.

Great book would recommend for children
For those who don't know, this is a very popular classic Armenian fairy tale. I always thought it was very beautiful and I am very glad that it's also available in English now.

My two daughters loved this story
My two daughters loved this story, just like I did when I was their age. They liked the picture of Ararat in the front and the "3 apples that fell from the sky" at the end:-) When I was a kid, those 2 details never caught my attention.. IMHO Vachagan's illustration is a little feminine..
