Other reviewers are definitely on to something; this pulls my light brown hair up to a nice light to medium ash blonde. I use another loreal one usually but tried this and am so happy I did. The formula seems faster, more effective, ashier like most mentioned and my hair quality after is better than others. This would be the one that might keep me from a salon for a while. I will keep using this - the conditioner is also magic.

I love this color. It’s hard to find in the stores near me, so I was happy to find it here. Very nice blonde and lifts my roots well.

Yes, it's my fault I got the wrong color. I usually use L'Oreal Blondissimes extra light ash blond, but I figured "close enough" since it was priced lower. WRONG! Not only did I buy the wrong color (extra light "natural" blond) but to make matters worse, I bought the L'Oreal Excellence Creme. Don't get me wrong, it'll do in pinch and I'm certain nobody notices this but me; however it's a bit darker than the extra light ash blond (think dirty blond). The kit contains: disposable gloves; a step-by-step guide (with pics) for either the whole head or just the roots; an attachment for combing on the color if desired; and also both pre- and post-conditioners.. The pre-conditioner offers protection against breaking, drying-out, & damage, whilst the post-conditioner is absolutely wonderful. Shiny, silky, glimmery goodness! I colored only my roots (I'm not gonna lie--it burned a bit), and there was PLENTY left over even after I pulled it through the last 5 or 10 minutes (the length of my hair is down to my butt). After application on your roots, it only takes 25 minutes to get desired effect. Hopefully, I will remember to choose the proper color and brand in the future. Good thing I'm using a pink color on top of it in a few days.

Only use L’Oréal products so after 40 years I still use L’Oréal. This hair dye is color it shows and leaves your hair soft and shinning. I often have people ask who does my color. I say me with L’Oréal. Tried others but inexpensive and always true to color I highly recommend this hair colorant and lasts for me about 5 weeks as I get older.

This is an easy to use color system that delivers consistent color every time! The addition of a shampoo and conditioner for use after color makes your hair even more silky feeling. I have NOT experienced any over drying of my hair. I am naturally a medium brown and this product gets me to light blond in one application. I do use purple shampoo every other week after coloring to keep the brassiness down. In comparison to salon color I would say this is of equal value, especially if you have someone who can help you apply it evenly over your hair.
