Excellent, once you get them mounted...
I bought the 48", 6-pack of these LED lights for my 17'x24' workshop (8' high ceiling). Overall, these lights are outstanding in lighting up the shop. If I had to do it again, I'd buy 6 of them (In my case, I also used two similar LED lighting units I had already, from a different mfgr). The light is bright, very white, and well dispersed; with proper positioning, I've virtually eliminated any dark areas or shadows, which is a big deal for my 68-year-old eyes. That's the bottom line, but, mounting was a mixture of simple and incredibly frustrating. Whoever "finished" my garage/shop space decided to texture the ceiling with free-form, looks-like-it-dripped-while-drying "finish". very wide, sharp stalactites (some almost an inch long), if you can picture it. This made the "simple" spring metal mounting clips (2 for each light) very challenging to attach to the lights. One side or the other of the clip would attach, and the opposite side would pop off. Multiply this by the two clips, while on a ladder, and... well, let's just say I invented a new language comprised entirely of incredibly descriptive vulgarity. One of the lights (the one that gave me the most difficulty) actually popped out of the mounting clips later that night - the security cam caught its dramatic dive to the concrete floor very nicely, thanks to the IR cam light. To its credit, the LED light was completely undamaged; the power lead (daisy-chained to another unit) probably slowed its fall, but still, it speaks well for the unit's durability. The mounting problems were eventually solved - I found that a: scraping the texture down as much as possible, b: bending the mounting clips a little tighter, and c: not screwing the clips all the way flush to the ceiling resolved the problems, but it was a slow (and painful - those stalactites are SHARP). The lights are lightweight enough that medium-duty screw-in drywall anchors are more than sufficient to hold them. The lights have been up for over a week now with no further suicide attempts on their part, so I guess I got it right. The only other criticism I have is the provided interconnect cables, used to daisy-chain the lights... a decent number are provided, but I found one or two lights where I wished they were a bit longer. I didn't use the 1" interconnects, used to butt the lamps together, end to end, so I can't comment on them, but they looked like a nice option if running continuous units in that fashion. the 3 provided power/switch cables are nice, but since I powered all the units from a ceiling duplex outlet, they have to hang down a little clumsily to make the switches reachable. The end caps, to close off unused connectors (there's a female connection at each end of the light) is a nice touch, and makes the installation look professional (unlike the dangling switch cables). Overall - I'd recommend these bright, apparently durable LED units as a flexible, economic lighting solution for many applications. Well worth the $$$, once you get them mounted securely.

Very bright, easy to install
After reading reviews here, I was certain there would be some mounting problems from the clips provided. At first there was, then I discovered the secret to getting the clips working perfectly. Secret later. First, I installed the lights in my garage in five groups of 2. The two lights plugged into each other directly with the connecters they provided. I the used a power strip to plug in each of my five rows. Measure where you want the clips to attach to your ceiling. I located my joists and screwed into them. At first it was a fight getting the lights to mount up and getting the clips to hold the lights. My ceiling is not perfectly level and the lights provided no gapping from the ceiling. Then the solution hit me: use my own longer screws and do not tighten them completely. First light was up. then the second light was still binding a little, so I just loosened the screws a little more. I found that if I left about a 1/4 inch gap between the screwhead and the ceiling, the lights went up easy and fast. There may have been a couple that needed to out a little further, but it was very easy to do. That was a couple months ago and the lights work perfectly. You cannot tell there is any gap with the screws and they work great. Now to address the garage door opener problems. Yes, when they are on they mess with my remote opener. If I drive right up to the garage door, the opener works. So they do interfere with the garage door opener. My guess is they use an inverter circuit in each strip to send smooth power to the lights and it runs in the same frequency spectrum as the remote. Also since I rarely have the lights on and use the remote at the same time, this is not an issue for me. Occasionally I leave and forget to turn them off, but I just pull right up to the garage and the remote works. A very minor inconvenience. Do to the ease of installation, the super bright lights and low price, plus all the options they give you with the parts ; I had to give them a full 5 stars!

Great product
This is a great product, so pleased with it that I bought another set of 10. It comes with switches for individual operation, long connectors and short connectors to connect multiple lamps on the same circuit. The only thing that could be improved is that the pig tail connectors are too short, about 6-in long, they should be about 1 foot long. However, since you get enough long connectors (2-ft), I cut one to the length I needed and made my own. Very easy to install, one screw to attach each of the two brackets and they snap into place easily. They have a sturdy aluminum body and plastic ends. The only thing I cannot predict is durability. LED lights tend to last long. Lights are very bright, I installed 6 in the shed and so far 4 in the basement and will keep on installing when the new package arrives. They use 40 watts each, which is high when compared to a regular LED bulb but you get a lot of light. When compared to the 8-ft long fluorescent bulbs I had in the shed, which consumed 110 watts per bulb, and each lamp had two, there is a lot of energy savings. All six LED lamps I installed in the shed consume about the same power as a single lamp of the old fluorescent type. Before 880 watts, now 240 watts and is better illuminated.

overall, a 4-star rating
Overall, a 4-star rating The Good- Super bright, crisp white light, excellent luminosity. lightweight aluminum heat sinks. If they last, I will order more. Good lights for what they are. Their performance outshines the following woes... The Bad- Typical modern measurement shrink-flation, like groceries or plywood. The listing says that these light fixtures are 4 feet long. This could simply be just another lie, or maybe the Chinese math conversion from Metric to American Standard is founded on the horseshoes tolerance standard. They are only 46 7/8” long, with a usable clamping length of only 45 3/16”. This is merely inconvenient if you use the included wimpy drywall anchors. But, if you have exposed trusses on 24” centers, you can’t daisy-chain these lights without spacing and support issues. The Ugly- It seems that an engineer labored long and hard to develop the lightest, cheapest, and sharpest clamp brackets possible, while maintaining an only mostly effective attachment system. If your ceiling system was also built by day drinkers and is as flat as a New England city street, the clamps might lead to additional day drinking.

Love these things
This is the 4th set of these I have installed. Tons of light, super easy to put up and incredibly flexible. I have about 15 in my shop and my wife has similar number in her studio. Very bright, very low power usage and you can position them pretty much anyplace you have a power outlet. In each application, I used an electrocution to remove a fluorescent tube fixture and replace it with an electrical outlet in the ceiling. Very simple for him to do - I could probably do that, but I don’t like working with wiring. Then I just attach clips to the ceiling wherever I want and daisy chain the lights from the first one which is plugged into the new outlet. I have some on very light brackets attached to the wall to put them directly over my workbench. Great lights to place a lot of light exactly where you want it - very bright, super efficient and low cost.

So far they are great seed staring lights
I've been using a 4 foot 8 bulb high output T5 fixture for starting seedlings for five years now. Only complaint about it is how much usable light I had under it. I could only start a single 1020 tray with 48x 1.5" cells. Once I up potted each cell into solo cups I had no room for any more seedlings under the fixture. The bulbs in my T5 fixture started to die and when I looked at replacing them, they were going to cost $45-55 dollars for a pack of four or five bulbs. Since it is an eight bulb fixture I'd be looking at $90-110 to replace them all. I've been wanting to look into LED's and this was enough of a nudge. Ended up buying this 10 pack of hykolity 40W 6500K 4FT LED Shop Light 5200LM for $90 instead of replacing the bulbs. I also bought an adjustable height six shelf 18"x48"x72" metal shelf that fit into my downstairs closet. I placed two LED bars under each shelf with the metal clips that came with the LED bars. The mounting clips are meant for attaching the bars to a flat surface via screws but I used twine instead. My seedling footprint multiplied by a factor of five and I started a boat load of seedlings this year in comparison. I'm using less electricity than my previous T5 fixture ( 54W x 8 = 432W vs 40W x 8 = 320W ) did, and have the ability to turn of individual lights and pairs as needed. There is another listing that you might consider: 10 pack AQIQUUT 4FT Led Shop Light 50W 6500K 7000LM. Sometimes that is on sale at $105. At the time I made my purchase the AQIQUUT listing was priced at $130 and this listing was on sale $89.99. Those consume an additional 10W per bar and you squeeze an extra 1800LM per bar with the same light temperature. I haven't noticed any of my seedlings being leggy so really don't think you'd go wrong with either listing depending on how competitively they are priced when you make your purchase.

“Good lights but missing items in my order
“The product is very good, it gives plenty of light and works perfectly. However, I had an issue with my order: I bought 2 packs of 4 units (total of 8 lights) but only received 1 pack of 4. I was missing 4 lights. I already reported this to Amazon, but I’m sharing it here so other customers are aware. If the order arrives complete, I totally recommend it.”
