24130 RVW-205 Sensar IV with Wingman - Replacement Head Only, White

Replaced an older Winegard rooftop antenna with this newer upgraded amplified model they call the Sensar IV Wingman, and was pretty happy with the results. Got all the channels the older antenna received and several more with this new antenna. It's a super easy no-brainer to install - takes maybe fifteen minutes once you're up on the roof. If your vertical supports that support this antenna aren't damaged, you can probably reuse them since they're aluminum and should last almost indefinitely, so you may not need the complete antenna package. Save a buck and order just the replacement head if you can. Note: On most models of RV's, power is supplied ( for amplification ) to this antenna through the coaxial cable and DOES NOT require a separate power supply. This is controlled by a small switch behind your TV which should have a little indicator light and a 12 volt outlet which turns on/off power to the antenna. Works as it should

This antenna installed where the old one was in the same exact place. The pins that held the old antenna were removed from the two arms and this new one installed in the same exact way. This antenna also came with the UHF arm attached providing a great picture and channel selection. after hooking up the coax lead and then reselecting the channel search I came up with over 80 channels, some of which are about one hundred miles away! Fantastic job.

Seems to work better than my original Winegard antenna that came with my travel trailer. I'm able to receive many more HD channels with this one. Simple install and fit perfectly with my existing antenna crank up riser. I did have to use a hack saw to cut the piece that comes out from the middle of the unit so it would lower without hitting my rooftop AC. No big deal though and didn't seem to hurt the reception.

Works as expected

I used this to replace a non-Hd antennae. I had previously replaced an older non-flat screen television with a HD flatscreen and already enjoyed the picture, but this antennae really allows the video to “pop”. Later, I managed to damage the crank mechanism to raise the antenna. However, I still found that that it has superior reception than the previous antenna deployed, which I did not expect. I also found that it had good reception while driving out of the campsite and on the highway (my wife could continue to watch television while I was driving). I don’t actually know if there was any pixilation from poor reception while I was driving, but it did manage to stay on the channel she was watching for at least 15 miles.

This antenna head was a perfect replacement for the broken one on our 5th wheel. With it we get about 8 more channels than we used to. It was trivial to replace. I just removed the two pins from the old head, removed it, put the new head in place and put the new pins in place. I could have used the old pins but since there were new ones I used them. The hardest part was climbing the ladder to get onto the roof of the RV. If we hadn't already had 12 volts on the coax cable it might have been a bit of an exercise to hook that up but since it was already there, I just had to turn it on. I was concerned that the nose on the front of the antenna might not fit properly when stowed because the old antenna didn't have that. As it turns out it was just fine but it could be a problem for someone else if there are other things on the roof that could interfere.

Very easy install. I'm still playing with direction of unit for best reception so I'm not quite sold on unit. So far not any more channels found but what I do get the signal is much stronger than before. I'm located in a remote area with lots of trees and mountains in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I also get more Canadian channels than US. I like it so far

My old antenna head was bent up. I could never get any reception with it. The replacement head was a breeze to install and I was able to pick up 2 channels.

Found it was Easy to install. Were able to receive more channels. Channels clear Would buy again.

My old OEM batwing pixelated even with a strong signal. This one gives a stable picture even on one bar signal strength.
