The gloves perform as advertised -- almost total protection from grill heat. I chose this brand because of the long cuffs to protect my forearms. Best, they are supple enough to perform like real gloves.

They look HUGE when compared to your hands, but they fit great on the inside! I used these when I was doing a crafts project with a baking pan, molten plastic, and a blow-torch. They protected me very well! Love the design aesthetic for the silicone dots and flames. They stick up far enough that no surface of your skin gets burned or even slightly hot. Very flexible. No range of movement is impacted. Very easy to get on and off. They even have a nice little hanging hook loop. The inner mesh material and weave is exactly the same as you'll find on professional gear. I've used both.

I've moved out of grilling and into the kitchen, and these gloves made the trip with me. I can take seriously hot cookware out of an oven without a moment's worry. They are heavy duty, and they were designed with enough length that the open-ended part of the glove will also protect your wrist when working over open flames. The silicone coatings make for a serious non-slip grip. I love the protection. Much easier to work with than hot pads, but they are heavy enough you might wish to take them off when done grabbing hot objects.

These gloves are great, able to handle very hot items and not feel it, and added flexibility of using the gloves to shredd pulled pork and move chicken or ribs in a smoker.

These fit well on my larger square hands, snug, not at all clumsy, and I'm able to reach into the oven and grasp the sides of the baking pans with no difficulty. Bought a French Door countertop to avoid reaching over the oven door, but found oven mitts too clumsy. These are perfect, well worth the small investment (history of burns). They look huge but are perfect on the INSIDE, and fit snugly without the bulk often associated with oven mitts. Got red because, well, red ... fire, but other colors available if you want to leave them on display. Material is fabulous, quality sublime, easy to use, would highly recommend, wish I'd known about them two burns ago.

I bought these gloves because I have recently started getting into baking sourdough bread and homemade pizza dough. Doing so you work with really high temperatures 450-550 degrees and I needed some to help protect from the high heat. The quality is ok but they don’t resist heat for long. I mean seconds 1-2 minutes tops. The silicone doesn’t cover the whole hand so you get hot spot through the fabric part. I do like the length because they cover your arm almost to the elbow. I using them for now but I will look for something of better quality.

This is a very nice product. Use it all the time. Hands do not get warm or hot. Fantastic product. I like that the gloves are a little longer, they come up my forearm a little longer than a regular glove. I like the product.h

They seem big like winter gloves. But they do the job and that is the most important thing. So even though I burnt myself before I got them, I am very happy to have them now.

Gloves got burning hot within seconds and had to plunge my hands into cold water.

Not sure how they came up with something as precise as 1473 F, but be that as it may, bottom line is that these gloves *do* seem to be quite heat resistant when dealing with very hot BBQ pans, grills etc. Fit well for me. Am reasonably happy with them. Little loop at the wrist so that they could be hanged up easily would have been icing on the cake!

These are great. They obviously work as advertised since I still have full use of my fingers and hands to write this review. If for some reason my dog eats them, someone steals them, or they somehow just fall apart after a few decades, I would absolutely buy them again. If they however catch fire or burn through at some point then I would probably hesitate to recommend them. That hasn't happened, so a 5* review and happy barbecue meat eater here. I wouldn't wear them to grab and flip burning logs in the fire pit, but for everyday barbecue use to protect the hair on your wrists and arms from burning or to grab stuff off the grill or move great chunks of meat around while cooking, they're awesome. Get some. Bare handed barbecuing is only novel for a little while. You won't lose man points if you wear some bbq gloves.
