This is a great device to prevent someone from stealing your bike. It doesn't completely stop someone from being able to pick it up and throwing it in the back of a truck, but sure does scare away an amateur thief who gets scared and runs away when it makes noise if they start tampering with it. It also prevents someone from being able to roll your bike away too. I recommend this, a chain, and a bike cover if you leave your bike outside like I do. Just make sure it's pin can fit in your rotor, which it should for most bikes. Would recommend.
