A: No I don't think so

**Q: Will this keep liquids out of the frig cold for a least 3 hours?**
A: Mine does and it’s in a car with Georgia weather so 100+ temps. I do keep it in the shaded floorboard.

A: It should snap closed It's not a tight seal But it should definitely snap closed If it doesn't it's faulty's send it back
