Perfect axe. My brother loves it and uses it all the time. Extremely durable

I use it to split kindling for our wood stove. It’s pretty effective on 10-12 inch rounds of hardwood. It holds an edge pretty well. I have it hanging on the wall outside the wood shed and no rust. The handle is comfortable and it’s balanced nicely.

This axe/hatchet works very well, seems well put togeer. It was so sharp that I was able to cut a package of bacon in half through the plastic with one swipe. I didn't feel like getting my knife out this worked fine.

Great price for virtually the same axe Husq sells. The head feels lighter than advertised but I can't guarantee it is. The edge on the cutter could be better. But a quick run with a file and this little axe cuts what I need. I use it to drive my wedges in and clean up smaller trunks. Or to mark my cut. I wish I had gotten one slightly longer. But that's not the product fault. Update. I've owned this for a year. I've literally tried to wreck it. It's hit a carbide chisel and got a couple nicks in the blade. I filed them out and it cuts great. I hammer wedges and a carbide cutter with this hatchet. It's still going strong in full use as a Wildland fire fighter and pro arborist in off season. You can't beat the price. Anybody with a negative review did not get the same axe I got or severely abused it. I've only oiled and sharpened mine.

I do like the axe. It has cut wood, branches, and any thing that needs to be cut.

My husband needed a small axe for chopping wood at his hunting cabin. After looking at several in person and online, he chose this one. The handle, weight and balance of the axe is great. It is very easy to use. Highly recommended!
