I have used this product in the past for the price you cannot beat it, but it is not reliable meeting it only lasts for about 18 months. Now I know there is a lot of variables when it comes to a dryer but I have no lip problems or etc. it just starts to give out and the temperature drops... How I know this a pull the dryer out and put a temperature probe into the probe hole in monitoring about once every three months when the temperature starts to drop I just buy another one this way we don’t have dryer failure. I recommend replacing the temperature sensor in the two solid-state relays at the same time it’s cheap and easy and they do sell them as a kit, my kit was $35 cheap insurance. I hope this helps lot of words if it was me, I would not read this much.

Works well as a replacement dryer heating element and restores heat quickly. Fits compatible Whirlpool and Kenmore models as described and is fairly easy to install with basic tools. Build quality feels solid and it gets the dryer running like new again. Overall, a reliable and cost-effective repair part.

Absolutely not worth the price! Failure to read the entire information before purchasing and I will never purchase again! Claims are that this heating element can last three up to six months that’s ridiculous. No heating element should go out that fast! Either these are malfunctioned or faulty heating elements. I don’t know which one but mine started smoking! Please read through reviews before just purchasing. Most people will make a review as soon as I get it not knowing this heating element will go out in a very short amount of time causing you to buy the same element over and over again! Use the manufacturers website by the proper heating element and install it otherwise you’re just wasting your money here! Terrible heating element and you don’t even get that big of a return window! Mine went out in a matter of weeks, not months when I want to return it my window had been closed less than 30 days. That should give you some sort of heads up as to what is wrong with this company! Heating element should last a lot longer than a couple of weeks and their claims three up to six months is not accurate either! Mine started smoking, and we had to shut the dryer off. We didn’t even get a couple of weeks in on this before this thing could have caught on fire! Amazon needs to take this product down. It’s not safe do not buy.
