Portable CD Player Boombox with Bluetooth & FM Radio – Black

My boss loves this. He didn't understand bluetooth until I showed him that this machine can play his audio anything from his phone as well as play his CDs. He's amazed. So far it sounds great and is very easy to understand and operate. It looks nice too. And it is great price for all that it does and value of its functions.

I have been researching radio/CD players for awhile and, like most people, I was first and foremost concerned with quality sound and radio station reception. Second, easy operation, such as simple knobs for volume and tuning. Third, ease of switching functions (for me, this is just the radio and CD player). Fourth, the size of the unit so I could use it on my night stand or other locations in the house. After checking ratings and reviews on other brands, I finally settled on this one and, once I removed it from the box and plugged it in, it was clear to me that this Megatek was an excellent choice! Whether playing CDs or the radio, the sound is impeccable with the factory setting, whether I'm playing operas or classic rock or listening to my favorite classical radio station. The volume knob has a good range (0-32) which is convenient because sometimes CDs aren't recorded at the best level, so you can control it accordingly for optimal sound. The same is true with radio stations, especially those with weaker signals, but that's what the attached antenna is for, though I haven't needed to use it because major stations come in loud and clear. As a bonus, there is a preset function for your favorite radio stations (scan or set them manually); as for me, I only use a few stations, so I like the knob on top for manual tuning. Sound is #1, as I began this review, and again, I find the factory setting to be perfectly balanced so you get good sound and that includes bass, treble, or anything in between. Some players have an awful tinny sound and thankfully, you won't find that with this unit - only terrific sound. It's a smart looking unit, too, as the product picture on Amazon shows. Now, I should point out that I'm very particular when it comes to music, and I can guarantee that if this Megatek Portable CD player with FM radio didn't meet my ears' high standards after I tested it out, it would have been returned the day I received it; but I am happy to report it's still here and thanks to Megatek, I am enjoying my CDs and radio every day immensely! There is also a user's manual with this unit for your handy reference. I might add, the price is very reasonable, too, for this quality unit.

I just received this CD/FM Portable Player (Model CB-M25BT). First the good news: Delivery was very fast (received in three days from date of order). Price was reasonable Sound quality is excellent, the FM stations came in very clear and when using the CD - no problem: no pops, squeaks, or hissing noises. I like the compact size and the handle which makes it easy to hold. When used in FM mode, you can actually see the stations on the screen, a big advantage over other models, you can lock and scan up to 30 stations or manually use the tuning dial (we plan to use this at the drive-in and you will be given a specific frequency to use. This a big advantage over those radios that don't have manual tuning). When using the CD, you can pick out songs you like (by scanning) - I this do a lot. Now the bad news: Whether using the AC (cord is included) or batteries (4-"C"). A small red indicator light comes on. This small red light stays on even if you turn off the player. In AC mode - who cares? But when using batteries, you must remember to remove them, otherwise they will be drained of power. Now, I found out that the battery life is around 10-12 hours. This isn't bad, but if you forget to remove those batteries and take this player to a beach, you won't be a happy camper! I wish they would have installed a on/off switch or not have this indicator light at all. The manual does not say anything about this. I have enclosed two photos - one with no power at all ,and the other, even if off - shows the red indicator light on. I am giving this a 4 star rating because of this. I still would recommend it - just remember about the batteries.

This is a great little do it all music player. I wanted this to take on a trip, but also to be able to easily move to different rooms or even outside and still be able to listen to music. The bluetooth connects easily and I haven't experienced any issues with it dropping. CDs play fine, radio works but I haven't used that other than testing it out. I haven't used aux or memory card functions yet. The sound is not crystal clear, obviously. It sounds like what any other boombox sounds like, and I would not opt for this as my primary form of listening, but for the reasons I listed above, this does just fine.

These is a great small and easy to carry "boom" box.I wanted something I could take out in the yard, to the beach, use on my patio an this is PERFECT. Great sound and volume. I did have to read the manual to learn all the buttons as it works differently from my previous ones. One wonderful aspect of this player is the antenna is better protected and that is huge as previous ones that is what snapped off. Great value for the money spent

I bought this for our camper because it has all 4 options I wanted. Radio, CD player, bluetooth and auxiliary. Hooked to bluetooth on my phone with zero issues. Pulls in all my favorite stations in the house and does pretty good camping. Plays CDs and the sound is clear as it is with radio and bluetooth. Even if you turn it up the sound still remains clear. The perfect size to carry around with you when on the go. You can plug in or use batteries which is nice if a power outage. Controls are easy to use. Really like it so much that I bought one for the house.

Hard to program favorite radio stations. Volume was less than expected. The sound quality was good. Attractive design. Bluetooth worked fine. CD player worked ok.

Yes I like this player very much. I don’t really need a cassette player too. It’s nice and light and very easy to carry.

This unit works great. I have played several CD’s and USB’s and am impressed with the sound quality for a small boombox. Love the bluejay color radio I ordered. Have run radio on battery mode and it lasted all day. Overall this radio was worth the price and would recommend this unit

I bought this CD Player for my daughters birthday. She was so excited to set it up. When we removed it from the box we were disappointed to find it had an American plug and not suitable for Australia. I'll have to sort out a plug adaptor.

We like it a lot. Just got it mind you but for the price it is great. It is lightweight but sturdy and very cute. The sound is better than we thought. It is being used to play cds only. The radio doesn’t pick up too much but that was not a concern and could be where it is placed. Don’t know how long it will last but it does what we wanted it to for now.

It has so many features to use, not only for FM/AM radio but also as a Bluetooth Speaker and with an aux cord. There is also a USB port and CD player! The sound quality is pretty good, especially if you fiddle around with the antenna. Super duper lightweight and compact too, and you have the option of either powering it using 3 C batteries or using the wire they give you with the boombox. I am so glad I bought this, WAY BETTER THAN MY OLD BOOMBOX!
