Buy this, high quality at great price
Jeez this is the best kilt I've ever had! Very attractive material and I've been compliment several times already at the store and doctors. So comfortable and plenty of fabric so it feels very secure sitting down etc. I admire the snaps and straps, very practical and secure. there are extra for a covid pound or two. I am buying another color next paycheck!

Great fit, comfortable, but a bit cheap
I like the feel and fit and comfort of the kilt but my wife wants me to get something a little less plaid. I also don't like having to do the 2 buckles every time taking it on or off. If you make them loose you can slide it on but then they don't look right, and if you tighten them you can't slide it off. All in all, pretty good quality for the price. However, returning for a less plaid version, maybe more of a utility kilt.

You get what you pay for. Good starter kilt.
Being only a $30 kilt I didn't expect much. I wanted to try it though as I have always been very interested in kilts, but the $100+ price tags on traditional kilts were very off-putting.This one fits well and comfortably. I love the color and the tartan is surprisingly good-looking for such a cheap kilt. It was great to wear a little and just get a feel for whether I liked kilts enough to invest in something quality. The Pros:1. Cheap, so good introduction to kilts.2. Good Tartan quality for the Grey Watch.3. Comfortable and easy to put on/take off.The Cons:1. The pleats came out after just a few washes and no amount of ironing has been able to fix them. It kind of looks like an odd skirt now. Would not wear it in public again. It is now just an around-the-house kilt for lazy days.2. Pockets were useless and made it seem kind of tacky. Not good as a utility kilt and clashes badly with a traditional Sporran. I had to remove the pockets from mine since they look bad and started sticking out. Too small to hold anything anyway and the buttons have only the outside bit so it doesn't button closed; they are just decorative.3. "Made in Pakistan." Need I say more? Buying this one means not supporting Scottish Kilt Makers, which is a shame and not something I will be doing again.4. Not made to measurement so it can sit weird on you. A kilt needs to be tailored to your body taking measurements such as your true waist, seat, and length.5. The low-quality material has resulted in a rather unsightly sag in the front apron. As I said before: Would not wear it in public again.

Good kilt, but too expensive now...
I got this kilt 2 years ago for $40. Considering the material, that is a fair price. I just came back looking to purchase a different color and see that it is now at $68!?!? Again, this is a pretty good kilt, but for the type of material it is, NOT worth $68, save your money at this point.
