Smooths Out the Ride—Great Shock Absorber!
Works great—great, reasonably-priced suspension seat post. Excellent shock absorption! Just what I needed! Thanks!

Night and day difference in my ride!
Night and day difference with this! I have a large heavy cargo e-bike, no suspension, for hailing 3 kids and gear on a daily basis and where I live the streets are full of potholes and bumps which used to rattle my brain but now I ride much more comfortably. This is a very effective, affordable option for dampering bumps and potholes. Highly recommend.

I own several
reliable comfort. good shock absorption. my only complaint is the pin (hidden by the label) that holds the top bracket to the shaft, sometimes shears from rotation. I blame that on my weight!

Amazing when paired with THIS saddle!
I installed the DJC Bike Suspension Shock Absorber on my bike and it made a noticeable difference in ride comfort, especially on rough pavement and small bumps. The suspension really helps absorb vibrations that normally travel straight through the frame and into the seat. Installation was simple and the build quality feels solid. The aluminum body is lightweight but sturdy, and once it’s installed you can definitely feel the suspension working when riding over uneven surfaces. If you ride an e-bike or do longer rides, this type of seatpost upgrade makes a big difference in reducing fatigue. One thing I realized after installing it is that the seatpost improves comfort a lot, but it works even better when paired with a wider, more supportive saddle. I ended up using the BLUEWIND Bike Seat, this model https://amzn.to/4cDv6cN and the combination of the suspension post plus the oversized saddle makes rides significantly more comfortable. The suspension absorbs the bumps while the wider saddle distributes pressure better, so together they create a much smoother ride — especially on longer trips. Overall, the seatpost alone is a great upgrade, but pairing it with a comfortable saddle really completes the setup and makes the bike feel much more enjoyable to ride. 🚴♂️

Huge comfort upgrade for the price — makes rough rides noticeably smoother
Huge comfort upgrade for the price — makes rough rides noticeably smoother I added this suspension seatpost to one of my bikes, and it’s one of those upgrades you feel immediately. If you ride on rough pavement, sidewalks, or even light trails, the difference is pretty noticeable right away. The built-in coil spring and damper do a solid job absorbing bumps and vibrations. It takes that harsh “jolt” out of small cracks and uneven surfaces and turns it into a much smoother ride. It’s not full suspension, but for something this simple, it makes a big improvement in comfort—especially on longer rides. Installation was straightforward—just make sure you get the correct diameter for your bike. Once installed, you can tweak the firmness using the adjustment screw on the bottom, which is helpful depending on your weight and riding style. What I like: * Noticeably reduces road vibration and small bumps * Adjustable stiffness lets you fine-tune the feel * Lightweight aluminum build feels solid for the price * Quick, easy install (a few minutes) * Great value compared to higher-end suspension posts Things to keep in mind: * Not as refined as premium suspension seatposts * Adds a bit of weight compared to a rigid post * Seat clamp adjustment could be more precise * Works best when paired with a comfortable saddle For me, this turned a slightly harsh ride into something much more comfortable without spending a lot. It’s especially useful if you’re riding longer distances or on less-than-perfect roads. Bottom line: A very worthwhile upgrade that significantly improves ride comfort at a budget-friendly price—simple, effective, and easy to install.

Well Made, But I Can't Use It!
We have two high-quality bike's that we ride. The first was made by Dynamic (no longer selling retail, corporate only) that came with a suspension seatpost that makes the bike very comfortable to ride on the broken pavement that our city calls "streets." The second bike is a high-end Montague, with an 11-speed Nexus hub and hydraulic disc brakes. Unfortunately, it did not come with a suspension seatpost, so between the aluminum frame and 60lb-plus inflated tires it rides pretty rough here in town. Did some research and ordered one of DJC's suspension seatposts. The Montague's seatpost down-tube needed a 30mm post, and DJC was one of the few that offered a post in that size (by using a tube-shim). Very easy to swap out and install on the bike. The DJC is very handsomely made, using nice quality aluminum and steel materials, all finished very well. It offers the option to adjust how it reacts to bumps by way of a hex-wrench "nut" in the bottom of the post itself, which alters the tension on a compression cushion inside the post by way of a spring that's compressed by that hex-wrench nut. It's well-thought out, well-designed and well-executed. But we can't use it! Why? Because the DJC seatpost has a large "collar" at the top of the outer tube of the post that the upper part slides down into. This collar stops the seatpost tube from simply disappearing down into the frame tube, so it's a really important part of the seatpost. The collar stops the post by butting up against the frame tube at the "pinch bolt" of the bike frame (the part that "locks" the seatpost at the correct height for the rider). The pinch bolt collar is rather substantial in size itself (making it strong and reliable), so it's also on the tall side. This means that between the two collars (seatpost's tube collar and bike's seatpost frame pinch bolt collar) the seat cannot be lowered enough so that my wife can actually fit on the bike safely to ride it. Obviously, the original seatpost (non-suspension type) didn't have this limitation as it is simply a straight tube that will slide all the way down into the frame. This allows the seat to be lowered all the way down until it's sitting on the top frame tube. So why am I explaining all of this? I want to be fair to the DJC seatpost because it is a very well made and quality product for a great price, but it simply can't be adjusted low enough for my wife to use on her bike. This is a real shame, but it in no way should be considered a negative on the DJC component. We really wanted this to work, but unfortunately it isn't possible.

appears to be a back saver
Looks promising My back and hips will be the judge This part perfectly fits a eoeotwo E01 ebike No issues mounting or mating with the seat base Shock absorption, weight and ride - I'll report back and post pictures after I've ridden this

Good inexpensive suspension seatpost
It works, but don't expect too much - it only absorbs shock in one dimension and the seatpost isn't completely vertical.

Comfort accessory for a nicer ride.
Great for reducing bum and spinal discomfort across uneven ground. This Schock absorbing seat post adds comfort without sacrificing pedal and rolling power, like front fork shock absorbers do.

Excellent product
This really helps to absorb the shock of bumps in the road while bumping. Biking on cracked pavement is much more comfortable and easier on your lower back.
