Should i be concerned that it does not meet aafco nutrients profile?

For my two big dogs, I would be leery of any food that fails to meet nutrients profiles. Additionally, any time I change dog food I buy a small bag for a test to see if they will eat it and how they respond to it. I only buy dog food from stores I trust. NEVER buy anything made outside the US, whether it is kibble, a play toy or a chew.

is this dog food actually grain free? i looked on their website and it doesn’t actually say grain free on there

There are oats in the item you chose and it does say "with Wholesome Grains". Acana does make a grain-free single that is (I believe) the Beef and Pumpkin Singles variety . Because the entire industry is a bit split now over grain-free being associated with some heart diseases in dogs I am assuming the manufacturer is trying to make something available for both the people who want a grain-free diet and those people (and many vets) who believe some grains in the diet are good. Your variety pictured here says Wholesome Grains variety. I personally use both but the ancient grains type is maybe one in three bags. I still lean towards grain-free but to hedge my bets I use a wholesome grains variety sporadically as my dog does tolerate it.
