SMITH Mainline Cycling Helmet

Great helmet, true to size. Has different size padding for adjustment. My size was 57-58cm and the medium helmet worked great. The only thing I dont like are the straps, they need to do magnetic ones like other helmets have. I tried different helmets and finally found a good fitting helmet! Satisfied with purchase even though its expensive.

This helmet has both Koroyd and MIPS. I think that it is one of the safest bicycle helmets on the market. I use it mostly for e-Biking on roads. My bicycle is white, so this looks good without all of the crazy racing graphics. My head is 59cm. The large is very comfortable and breathes well. I used the slightly thicker pad set that comes with helmet. I use a straw to drink from my water bottles. Most racers probably have bladders with tubes.

I got this for sending it with good protection and breathing on those ride where there's big elevation gain but also fun descents. This works great and feels comfy. My head doesn't sweat anywhere near as much as it does when I wear my regular full face. The goggles also fit perfectly in the helmet and the extra pads it came with only made it an even better fit. I'd buy it again.

Feels solid, as true downhill helmet, is lightweight and vented enough I can use it in SoCal. Can even drink in it if bottle allows. Perfect integration with SMITH goggles, zero nose pressure and wide view, adjustable visor. Fits true to size, leaves enough space in front of the chin. Downsides are: * noisy MIPS liner. It constantly makes sounds, hopefully it will get quiet after it settles a bit. * d-ring strap buckle. It’s the most secure out there but probably an overkill for enduro helmet. Not a big problem though as I don’t really get an urge to remove it as often as typical downhill helmet. Both downsides are not enough to take 1 star off though.

I believe this would have been a nice helmet to use, however, my head measures around 56 cm just fit a bit TOO snug inside. I know it was said that you should wear the helmet for 30+ minutes or just wear it a bit to let the helmet set in with your head. I did just that, I wore the helmet for 30+ minutes, wore it at home for many days (not continuously) watching tv, doing work, etc. It did feel better than initial and I was getting used to it, however, the tightness was just too concerning. The reason is because the helmet is NOT adjustable for your dome (only adjustable chin strap), so I am concerned during the warm summer time frame (when I really ride around for hours at a time) I know my head will expand a bit. When I wear the half-helmets I have to constantly re-adjust the rear dial adjustment. I can't do that for this helmet, and if it is this snug against my dome now, imagine how much pain it will feel when I'm riding for hours at a time in the summer? The pressure points on several part of my head were very very tight, so I felt that the cushion lining would not have provided relief when my head decides to expand due to the heat in the summer. In the end, I had to return the product, but if this fits for you I recommend it as it is lightweight and feels solid. There ARE some creaking noise between the MIPS and the shell, but I did not feel bothered by it. I'm sure your mountain bike would make more noise, the creaking noise isn't loud enough to bother me at all.

Super comfortable, field of view while wearing the helmet is great. Looks sick, it’s light weight and I feel confident bombing hills and hitting big jumps with it. Only thing I might change is the buckle. However with the design it has it’ll definitely be staying on your head if you take a nasty wreck so for that I can deal with strapping up everytime.

Casco molto leggero e aerato, l’ho testato in pista e l’ho testato veramente a causa di una brutta caduta in cui ho battuto la testa provocandomi un trauma cranico, il casco ha retto alla perfezione, nessuna crepa ma si è piegato e abbozzato e basta, davvero solido e ben costruito inoltre offre un paio di set di cuscinetti interni per farvi trovare il confort migliore. Raccomandato, vale davvero i soldi che ci spendete.

Qualidade acima da média, uma cor fantástica. Completa a minha coleção de capacetes na perfeição. Vou dar muito uso e divertir-me nos trilhos em segurança.

Qualitativ sehr gut verarbeitet und auch sehr angenehm zu tragen. Die Geräusche durch das MIPS stören leicht, jedoch für mich kein Grund den Helm nicht zu tragen. Verschluss war bekannt, ohne Erfahrung extreme fummelei... da wäre ein Magnetverschluss wie beim Proframe erheblich besser und angenehmer. Dennoch klare Kaufempfehlung 👍
