It’s also fairly easy to take out and insert a new XLR cable if needed. Review: Professional quality - I used to use a cheap boom arm with external springs. It was quite light, and the connections were poor quality. I did some research (mostly YouTube reviews) and the Gator Frameworks boom arm looked like the one for me. It is far superior to my original cheap boom. It's longer, quieter, sturdier and looks better. It has an integrated XLR cable, which is great because I was about to spend €20 on another cable. It comes with 2 desk mounts - one is a C clamp, that's the one I'm using, and it's very solid. The other is circular mount that screws into the desktop - long screws are provided. I haven't used it but I'm assuming the quality is as good as the rest of the kit.
