Note-bothr aides of the glue work together to stick
It's really beautiful and I'm so pleased it bought my unique broken cup back to life. The only fail was that the instructions for the glue weren't clear. The two sides of the glue need to be despensed and mixed together to solidify the glue. Using just the one side of the glue doesn't work. Took a while to figure out why it wasn't sticking and stayed tacky for ages.

Great product!
Great fun, but lost a star because the instructions weren't great. You really need a paintbrush (preferably like the one in my photo) and a wet wipe beside you to correct mistakes. Only use as much resin as fills the dot in the car supplied at a time because it dries very quickly and that's about all you have time to work with. Great value for money, the little bowls and cloth are nice. I will probably use them for something else. Repairing this mirror used most of not nearly all of the glue, but still have some gold leaf for other projects. Recommend!

So cool
I brokenmy mum's vase and wanted to repair rather than throw it out. I saw kintsugi and this lit gave you two pots to practise with. My first pot was a nightmare but the second one turned out great. The vase wasn't the best but my mum liked the repair job I did. I kind of want to smash more plates now just to keep going. This would make an awesome Christmas present. I'm buying gifts for my funeral when I die later this year and I plan to gift everyone one of these. (Along with letters and other gifts)

Glue seems to be out of date
I had high hopes, but am really disappointed with this product! The description seemed at first glance logical, but is at second glance very confusing. Why do I need to fill two circles with glue (steps 5-7), even though the glue always mixes automatically when the tube is pressed? What was even more annoying though is that the glue is more than a year out of date. Is that the reason why it comes out entirely uneven and therefore does not set? When pressed too much comes out of one side, hardly anything out of the other. The gloves can only really be used once, so are already wasted. I was hoping to be able to repair as beautiful vase. At the moment it looks more like I have wasted ยฃ11 and still have a broken vase. Arghhh!

Good way to get into Kintsugi but flawed
First off, its a great idea, I will 100% be doing this with other objects The bad part is the methods it tries to use for this: Breaking - Before I was to break it, I was thinking that I've seen bowls and plates break, they shatter everywhere so was intrigued on how the method outlined would stop that. Spoiler it didn't. The first bowl shattered so all the pieces were equal and the bottom disintegrated, glue wasn't helping that and the end product looked boring. Second bowl I hit on the side instead of the bottom and got two massive pieces and the rest disintegrated again. I'm not sure why the kit doesn't provide a broken item but in equal parts from the get go. A larger item rather than 2 bowls would be more enjoyable Gluing: I use epoxy a lot for miniature building however, it's normally not visible at the end so was intrigued on how it would explain on how to get clear neat visible lines. It don't, the first time around, it looked like id just glued it back together. There isn't any instruction to how much glue, how much powder just "a line". I added more glue to the next fix and then glue poured out leaving a fixed bowl crack with some seeped out gold glue. I'm bewildered why it doesn't use epoxy putty instead and a gold metallic paint instead as that is easier to control for beginners, it would leave clear lines and means you don't have glue everywhere. Good intro to realise what it is and how it works but for beginners is just frustrating

Great present option
This is a really great option for a gift. It has everything you need to have a go and try wabi-sabi gold repairs. Unlike other kits it's packaging is very in keeping with the product and makes it look classy. There are two little bowls that you can test your skills on before you try fix something important. The glue is good quality and doesn't dry too quickly.
