what is the gold powder actually?

The glue is not setting. I mixed glue with gold powder then more glue as per directions but not hardening. then

Are you mixing both tubes together as instructed ? Add a tiny amount of the gold as it goes a long way. You have to mix the components and work quickly as they should set quickly. Do as much practise as you can before working on special pieces .
