they have a strong plastic smell but i soaked them in hot water for a while and it went away. the suction cups that came with them were no good so i stuck the ends through the screen at the top of my tank and it worked great! my snake seems to like them :)

I used these in my snake's enclosure (right side of tank), he loves hanging out in them. They're good enough quality for him to not break them, which says a lot compared to other brands. They do have a chemical smell when new, I soaked them for 24 hours then changed the water and soaked for another 24 hours (warm soapy water) and it got rid of all smell. They're full and thick, and they don't break. I definitely recommend.

I purchased these for my snakes enclosure and they look decent in there. The quality of the plants is also decent for the price I paid for them. I reduced my rating by one star because it states "with suction cups;" however, no suction cups were provided. I improvised hanging them in the enclosure using screws and pre-drilled holes for power cords.

These vines are very good quality. My cresties seems to love them. I think they could be a little shorter.

These smell bad. Like really bad. Even soaking in hot water for a couple days and airing out for another couple days you can still smell it. Strong VOCs plastic odor. These require an insane amount of prep to make safe for reptiles. Even after I prepped them I put them in the tank and the whole tank reeked of plastic smell after a day. They break easily too/ shed little leaves pieces.

Good quality. I soaked them in hot water and no color ran and no weird smell. Soft plastic, no sharp edges. Easy to clean bc you just boil or soak for a minute. Can be used for so many things. Great value.

If you don't want to or cannot return this, try these ideas ... (see photos) Wear gloves if washing or your hands will smell. Ewe!! Update ___ OMG! Do NOT buy this! I CANNOT get the smell out! It's so stinky! I washed many times worth farm soap for water for like half hour. Then left in sink overnight in water and distilled vinegar. Then left it in sun with fresh air for the entire day. These are ours given to me by Google. I finally broke down and am making the trip to whole foods to return the darn thing.

I bought these for my corn snake, Frank, and he loves them. He's still small so he spends most of his time tangled up in them. They are very long so I had to trim them to fit in his tank. But I used the extra pieces to twine into his vines and other things. Very easy to clean and very sturdy. They don't look ridiculously fake either. The only down side is the suctions that come with them wear out pretty fast. I've had them maybe 4 months and its not uncommon for the ferns to be laying down in the bottom of his tank every now and then. I just keep sticking them back up.

Got this fake plant for my blue tongue lizard’s tank, and it makes the setup look a lot nicer. It’s sturdy and adds some greenery to the space—makes the tank feel a bit more lively, even if Reggie doesn’t really notice! Perfect low-maintenance decoration.
