Exactly what I wanted, I've gone through 2 different other flashlights, more expensive than this (and like most people, I don't relish throwing money away). In both instances the root cause of the failure was a broken switch, it stands to reason, having to cycle through different light modes is quite a lot of wear and tear on the switch, and it's no wonder the switch would fail. So before I wasted any more money, I asked myself what did I really need, and my answer was this: fairly rugged - an accidental drop on the floor should be survivable. Just a simple on / off switch , and a zoom feature from flood light to spot light - That's it. I don't need a strobe feature, S.O.S light mode, power saving dimable feature etc.Update: 1 year later and both are still working like champs. 1 in my toolbox at work (A machine shop and fairly rough enviroment to subject a flashlight) and 1 around the house, both have survived falls - the one at work has been bumped into machinery, and bounced right off concrete floors. I am still very satisfied with my purchaseThe only improvement I would wish for would be to move the on / off switch from the tail to a button located on the side of the housing.Sept 12, 2023. I have had both of these flashlights for sometime now, one I use at work daily, and the other around the house. Both have [And still do] work perfectly. This has turned out to be an extraordinary good buy, the simple on off switch has never faulted on either unit, and I have time and again reminded myself that I am so glad don't have to endlessly cycle through different lighting modes, I honestly think that this is one of it's best selling points. So far both lights have been rock solid in performance, when I need them they work.Update 9-29-24, both lights still going strong - as bright as ever. I am very pleased, this has turned out to be an excellent buy.Update 1-31-26, I still have both lights, the performance of both has been (and still is) outstanding.

Love these flashlights... fit well in my hand, good amount of light that can be focused from a tight beam to a wide-area flood. and only ON and OFF, no un-needed blinking modes.My only wish would be for a ring magnet around the on-off switch.

Seem to be well made, solid feel to the switch. The zoom ring runs smoothly and illumination is very even when wide, but the spot is square! Bright, but odd. I don't know about longevity but for the price it won't take long to be a good deal.

Flashlights are bright and the zoom works really well. Flashlights seem to be good quality. I really like that the single mode function. The fact they will accept 18650 rechargeable batteries is also a plus for me.

Just what I needed for around the house. Nice bright adjustable light and it’s either on or off, no other function. Very sturdy and well made. I also like the option of using 3 regular AAA batteries or one rechargeable battery, which I prefer.

These are the best flashlights. Very bright light and also works with the big rechargeable 18650 battery or 3 AAA batteries. It is a nice size-only 5 1/4 " long. I love that they have on and off and not all 5 modes. Also, they can adjust from a pin point light and to a wide light. Push the button at the bottom for on and push it again for off. With the big 18650 battery it weighs 4.0 oz. I really love this flashlight.

I purchased 8 of these lights for use every night for 30 days.Awesome lights. Better than others purchased before these based on side by side comparisons.These are well built. SIMPLE one mode bright lights.Keepers!!

I use them with 18650 batteries. I carry one in my pants pocket. Light is bright and white. Have not needed to recharge yet. Tailcap switch operates easily and gives me OFF and ON as I desire.

Hace ya unos meses que las compré, no les he puesto baterías recargables, solo unas de baja calidad, para mis necesidades son mas que excelentes. No han presentado ningún problema y son muy cómodas tanto en su activación como en el uso.

This is the best low-budget flashlight I've ever bought, so far (don't know how long they'll last, but so far so good). I like the 1-mode, and that it's designed to be easily taken apart meaning it's easily fixed, ie led or driver replacement, and that it's a zoomie. The body is of good construction, easy to carry and clip-on. Overall, definitely worth the money.

Took me long enough to find a simple flashlight with just an on off switch. No strobe, no brightness changes etc. which I love.It's bright, build quality seems solid and can take conventional AAA batteries or a rechargeable 18650. I havent tested it out with a 18650 yet but I assume it would be even brighter.
