**Q: Will this work when installed horizontally? shower drain pipes in Israel are installed horizontally with a downslope of a few degrees.**
A: It relies on the weight of the water to open it, so I don’t know. It’s not what it was designs for.

**Q: Is this legitimate sureseal or a knock off?  why is it so much cheaper than other sureseal for same size?**
A: No, it is legit. I purchased a few of them at that great price. All the sizes are good. Pass inspection.

**Q: Does this work on washing machine drain pipe?**
A: If you plan on inserting the washing machine hose into this, then no.  This seal is meant to let water drain then close up.  A hose cannot be inserted into this seal.
