Men's Quartz Watch Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Strap

I've been looking for a more formal style watch to add to my collection for a while. I've literally looked at dozens of different types over the last few weeks and kept coming back to this watch. I originally was looking for an automatic watch but I already have 4 other automatic watches , mainly divers, so decided to give quartz a go for it's convenience. The added bonus of solar was nice. So it arrived today and I have to say for the price it punches way above it's weight. It really is a good looking time piece. The black face shimmers slightly in the right light conditions. The hour and minute hands are slim almost needle like but I've no issues whatsoever reading the time or differentiating between the send and hour hands as some reviews have stated. The bracelet isn't a world beater by and stretched, and the micro adjustment isnt great but with the removal of a couple of link it fit perfectly. Its overall size is perfect for what I was looking for,and alternative to a diver watch which I'd wear to every occasion even if it looks off. This watch has the ability to be worn in formal settings, as a corporate office dress watch or as a smart casual day watch with a simple change of strap from steel brackets to a nylon/ leather strap or even a NATO strap. I get the feeling I'll end up wearing this watch alot more than I'd initially intended. For the price of less than 200 euro you'd be mad not to get one. Sapphire glass, solar, Seiko quality.

Highly recommended. The solar means you need to change the rechargeable battery every 10 to 15 years at a cost of around £30. An automatic watch should be serviced every 5 years at around £100 - £200. This watch is more accurate than an automatic. In terms of looks it's as good as the seiko sarx045 which is automatic but twice the price. This watch really does look and feel great, I've put mine on a black strap and am quite impressed with it. The other big plus is that it's a sapphire crystal dial window. Some more expensive watches are hardlex which isn't as scratch resistant. It would have been better with lume but I didn't see one with all the other specs for round about this price. That's about all I'd change though Having looked into watches I am tempted to keep going in search of the perfect watch. This seiko solar is so good though, it's hard to justify another one. It's low maintenance, accurate, tough and elegant. I think it's a one watch collection.

Let's start with positives. Watch itself has that elegant and classic look. It's a timeless piece, that looks good with both casual and formal outfits. Sapphire glass is scratch resistant, so you can use it day to day and solar battery will keep it running for a long, long time. Now with the negatives - watch came in a dirty box with one corner crumped - most likely courier decided to throw the package around a bit. But the thing that irks me the most is that day and date are misaligned - day is slightly higer than date. Made me wonder if it isn't a refubrished piece. If I had known, that in order to return the item it has to be in pristine unpackaged condition, and that the watch itself had that defect, I wouldn't have removed the protective stickers or the tag. Dissapointing for a Seiko at that price range.

I have always bought Seiko, great watches. This is my first Solar watch, and it has kept perfect time. When not wearing I put it on a windowsill, and appears to be keeping a good charge. It is a bit more thick and chunky than my previous watches, but maybe this is something to do with the solar function, but very happy with it. Had to remove a couple of links but that was straight forward.

This watch is lovely it was the right price . I have always wanted a Seiko watch and I love it , it's also solar charged . Worked straight out of the box , mint 😁

Excellent piece of engineering and I love the style. It is solar powered, has never stopped and keeps excellent time. I have been using it for some months now. The strap was too large for my thin wrists and I needed to adjust most of the links out of it. This was easy with the removable ones, but I needed to remove another one which was much more difficult.

Gegeven als cadeau. Is er blij. Eerst leek de dag van de week niet goed te werken maar toch wel. Ook opties van Japans zit erbij maar ook gewoon engels. Vond het hele aankoop zo online maar het horloge is netjes bezorgd, snel geleverd en dus goed gegaan.

Très belle montre. Qualité excellente. Très facile pour ajuster la taille du bracelet.
