Great product. I needed it to drill a 2" hole in a toolbox on the tongue of my trailer. It worked better than I expected and the mount for the various hole saws on the drill chuck was MUCH more sturdy than anything in my toolbox. It has a threaded knob that rotates and extends 2 studs into the base of each hole saw, thereby affirming a sturdy rotation with no slippage during drilling.

I got a set of these to cut a hole for a meter. I got started and that thing just did not want to cut where I wanted it worth a darn. Somewhere along the line I dug out a mandrel I got somewhere else and these sawed just fine. The ones I got with this set are crooked. I guess it -is- possible I boogered them up but I firmly believe I pulled it out of the box and have trouble from day one. This set has two sizes of mandrel. How is it possible both of the ones I got are cockeyed? The good news is I don't have to make holes very often and they can cut through mild steel. The bad news is I have to use the saws with a mandrel I bought separately.
