Couldn't find the design I'd purchased in the past from Adidas, good chance it's no longer in production/went out of style. This was the next closest find and satisfactory to me. Only been wearing for barely a day but so far feels good walking in, looks fashionable, and matches with my everyday outfits. Fingers crossed it lasts me as long as the old ones did (which was around 3 years).

Key comments of other reviewers were accurate. the color is a vibrant red. rich organic roma tomato red? it's even more vibrant because of the black accents of the shoe. awesome looking shoe. fit? here's my take. I'm between a 10.5 and 11.0 depending on whether the shoe runs narrow and whether I plan to wear it with double socks. I have an average foot width (medium). this shoe is just a slight bit narrow -- not much. I went with a size 11.0, and there was a bit of up-and-down movement at the heel, like another reviewer mentioned... a very small amount of movement in my case, though. with a double sock, it a snug, perfect fit like you would want while doing something active/athletic. btw, the canvas is a thick canvas --maybe 2x/3x thicker than retro converse high tops. hope this helps.
