Great cot with easy assembly
We recently ordered this cot, seeking a hassle-free option that doesnโt require assembly each time we need it, typically when our kids are sick. Previously, we relied on Regalo cots (great for toddlers and big kids), but after having three break over the years, we decided to try something different and bigger. This cot arrived just in time for one of our kids to fall sick, and it proved to be comfortable enough for her to sleep in for several nights. The size and sturdiness is even great for my husband who is just over 200lbs and 5โ11โ. I like that it sits up higher, allowing space below for items when camping. My daughter especially loved the pocket which held her remote & book.

Easy up, Easy down
My wife and I bought 2 of these cots for when our grandchildren spend the night. They are of the age where they like to sleep near their Mema. Being against allowing children to sleep in our bed, this was an agreed upon solution that they both accepted. When we received them and set one up, we were concerned about the comfort of the cot due to its rigidness. I laid my 5'10", 175lb body down on the cot and had plenty of room. Though a little stiff, I also felt that sleeping on one these would definitely be better than on the ground in a tenting situation. I suppose the stiffness is unavoidable in a "nature of the beast" kind of way. So what we did on the first grandchild sleepover with the cot was we placed a sleeping bag on the cot to act as a mattress. I questioned the child the next morning and she said she slept well and was very comfortable. I suspect that being able to sleep near her Mema, as opposed to a separate bedroom, played a partial role in that adolescent review. LOL. These cots are very sturdy and are extremely easy to set up and take down. When not in use they stow in a provided sac ( similar to a camping folding chair) and take up little room in the corner of a spare, though unused bedroom. With that said, I do not think these would be suited to a remote camping situation as they would be fairly heavy and bulky to carry any distance with all the other needed camp supplies. They would, however, be perfect for those situations where you are able to drive right to a camp sight and you would like to avoid sleeping on the ground. If I were a tent camper and could drive to the campsite, these cots would definitely be on my must have list.

Sturdy, but hard to lock into place
I got this cot primarily to use indoors when we travel. We stay in rental cabins and motels during our trips. Recently I slept on a motel bed that nearly left me crippled! (I have a bad back). I vowed NEVER AGAIN to leave my sleep space to an unknown fate. I decided to look into a travel sleep system that I can count on and stop taking chances and rolling the dice on sleeping surfaces when we travel. I just got back from a trip to Colorado. I slept on this cot for 6 nights. So far... so good. I have to mention here that I have a self-inflating mattress on top of my cot...the cot alone would NOT be comfortable. Unless you are young and spry, I think expecting any cot without extra cushioning to be comfortable is unrealistic. The air mattress that I have is the Elegear self inflating pad which fits perfectly on this cot. So far I've found my cot to be VERY sturdy...it doesn't budge when I roll over on it. It's solid and very quiet...no squeaking like a few other reviewers have mentioned. Mine is rock solid. Unfortunately, my cot is hard to lock into place. The initial unfold is easy, but the two center locking points are very stubborn and don't want to lay flat (they have to be flat in order to lock). My arms aren't strong enough to lock them so I have found that If I just gently sit on the middle point on each side...go back and forth to ease those middle points down, they eventually lock. I don't think that this is how this is supposed to work, so I'm taking off one star for it. Expectedly, since it's so hard to lock into its flat position, it's also very hard to unlock when it's time to fold the cot back up. If I mess with the other legs of the cot, it finally will release. Normally I would return this cot for another, but since my cot is so sturdy and the stitching seems very strong, I don't really want to trade this one in for the potential problems others are having with it. So I'll just muttle through and make this one work. The cot comes with it's own carrying bag. It is NOT sturdy or well made. The little clip that cinches it tight on the end is worthless so I replaced it with one that I already have. The strap on the carrying bag seems really wimpy, so I put a Velcro strap around the middle of the bag and carry it by that. The cot is not heavy or hard to carry which makes it perfect for someone like me who will be lugging this thing into motels, etc. When I was shopping for cots, I was trying to avoid the ones that have the pillow rise on one end. I thought that I wanted a flat one. I got this because i was running out of time before my trip and this one would arrive in time. It turns out that I LOVE the pillow rise on one end. It gives my back some nice relief...so much better than laying perfectly flat...so I lucked out there. I would say that so far, this has been a very good purchase. I love the idea of knowing what I'll be putting my back through at night when we travel.

Good quality, well built, and comfy
I'm really impressed with this cot. It's well made and very comfortable. Been sleeping on it through 2 knee replacement recoveries, so many weeks. Had a different brand and one of the legs gave out with a lot of use. This one is much better designed and supported. I don't really use the pockets, but it's a nice bonus feature that would be handy for camping.

Great Cot but Need a Mattress Pad
Used the cot on a camping trip. Fit perfect in the tent. A little hard to lock the legs in place, but once locked was sturdy. I found the cot very uncomfortable without a mattress pad - the sleeping bag alone was not enough padding. Once I added the pad, it was perfect!

Certianly does the job.
I serve as chaplain to an 1812 Infantry regiment and frequently encamp with my unit at living history events.. While almsot all of our camp is very authentic, my 74 year old body appreciates somewhat more comfortable sleeping over the course of a few days and night. Consequently I am very pleased with the purchase of this partiular cot. It sets up rather quickly, has a very good travle bag, and is rather comfortable. It does the job I need it to do.

Sturdy, but at a cost (updated)
(Update) The vendor reached out to me and were helpful and understanding. Though the cot wont work for me, they offered to let me keep it perhaps for a friend to try. Adding a star for good cust svc. โโโ--------โ-------------- The cot is STURDY. Its a bit fiddly to get locked down. But the big let down for me is that its NOT comfortable. Im 250 lbs, and 5'7" which is well within the listed product specifications. A pad doesnt help much. Also, it could be wider. I lost the box, so I cant return it.

Holds me at 6'1" 225lbs
I used this for the last week on a hunting trip. It's easy to setup, breakdown, and pretty comfortable. I did not use a pad just a sleeping bag and I slept well. So far no rips, or any signs of issues. I am so far very happy with this purchase.

Study and comfortable
I bought three of these for our first camping trip and they didn't disappoint. Easy to fold in and out. Feel sturdy and with an added mattress on top we all slept all night. Highly recommend.
