Perfect choice
I looked into multiple options before purchasing this car dryer, and I have no regrets. It comes fully assembled with the wheels, it's light, rolls easily, and the hose and attachments are super easy to click and twist-lock into place. It has an air filter (important for us car fanatics), and it generates warm air with totally sufficient power. The nozzles are soft and durable, the hose is very high quality and expands to 30 feet when the blower is on, and it works as advertised. With the correct drying towels, drying a car really doesn't take long anyway (most people expect one towel to dry an entire car, which is unrealistic--I use three large absorbent towels on the bodywork always starting from the roof down), so I can't endorse that this machine or any blower is going to significantly decrease drying time when your car is still dripping water after being soaked with an foam canon and freshly watered down. HOWEVER, drying grilles, wheels, wheel bases, tires, mirrors, nooks and crannies, and blowing out the interior of the car...now this is where all of these machines excel and this machine is AWESOME for the job. It will also put the "finishing dry" on the bodywork and eliminate watermarks and can even help gently dry the wax (although I would just let the wax dry on its own). The machine is quiet, well-built, and does a great job. For the money, it's a fantastic value and matches up against some of the more expensive machines out there. It's not the most powerful blower money can buy, but I don't need something that's going to be loud and generates a ton of heat, and that can blow the bark off of a tree. Highly recommend this product. You won't regret it.

Like someone else said, you don't need one but it's nice
I have a battery-powered leaf blower that does a pretty good job. This was a deal on Prime Day, so I splurged a bit. I'm not a detailer, but I am pretty OCD about my cars. I use the newest drying towels, and honestly, with them, you don't need much more. But this helps blow out the cracks and places where drips come out minutes later. On a ceramic coated car it get's 95% of the water off quickly. It's great for intricate grilles, wheels, and other details. I don't think that heating matters much. It's helpful to blow dust out of the interior if you don't have a compressor and a vortex gun. I hope the hose doesn't break based on other reviews. I'll go easy on the hose because of that.

Blows hard and doesn't ask questions
This turbo blaster is really cool, I originally bought the mini air blower and of course for like 1/4 the price it wasn't nearly as powerful as this thing. I really like this the wheels are good and lockable, I originally didn't get this over the little one because I thought it'd slide around but no they can lock. The variable speed is handy for drying off the door jambs or under the hood where you might not water going warp speed blasting all everywhere. Also this didn't blow my 20amp breaker and starts slow so doesn't go crazy. This thing gets hot also the hose just almost too hot to hold almost wish they put two of the neoprene grips on there but it certainly speeds up drying. If you're coming from towels it might take a little longer starting out getting used to it and inevitably finding a crevice full of 15 gallons of water in the mirror and blowing it all over the already dried car, but it's a lot more fun than towels and is so much more comfortable not having to bend over 15000 times for a short car. The red canister is plastic but it probably keeps the weight more manageable as this thing is already almost 35lbs. The self retracting hose is great too, I saw a review where some extra big guy stomped on it and it didn't break, it seems very sturdy but years of boiling hot heat will truly test it. I initially didn't buy this due to all the random reviews saying their unit broke into 100 pieces or something but that must've been a defect or operator error, and most of them seemed to have been favorably resolved by the company. I have to say this is one of the final devilishly expensive items to complete my car washing hobby along with my active 2.0. Do be CAREFUL not to let go of this bad boy I made the mistake of losing my grip and it went all around like a wacky inflatable tube man.

You probably don't NEED it.
As the title states, this falls squarely into the 'good to have' category. I own a motorcycle rental business and am washing / detailing bikes on a daily basis. I had started blowing them off using my battery powered leaf blower but it was cumbersome and not good at reaching into all the bike's nooks & crannies. I then moved to using my shop-vac with the hose attached to the exhaust which solved the issue with finding that hard to reach water but after a while the hose kept blowing off making the exercise more trouble than it was worth. Enter the Air Cannon. As a purpose built tool, it excels at it's job. That said, after using it for about a month, I've discovered some shortcomings. Not deal breakers but flaws nonetheless. Starting with the hose. It's way over engineered. And heavy. I get the thought behind it being designed in a 'space saving' fashion with expandability but turning the blower up to anything beyond 50% creates enough static pressure to fully, rapidly and involuntarily extend the hose out to the entirety of it's 30ft and in every direction possible. Fully retracted the hose is not unlike a giant cephalopod deprived of it's aquatic environment and any sort of structure which just 'spills' out of your hands when trying to wrangle it. I suggest a significantly oversized hook for storage. Next is the outer shell which is apparently made out of cling wrap and was easily scratched and dented after a minor topple onto it's side when a caster got stuck on a small rock. Last but not least is the 'heat'. Yes, the unit does generate plenty of warmth as the outlet of the blower would indicate by touching the base of the hose exiting the machine but that heat is all but lost by the time the air travels all 30ft of the hose and finally exits the nozzle on course towards the intended surface to be dried. So, would I buy it again? Considering my use case, probably. If I had a car or two to dry, I'd stick with my leaf blower. Would a dog groomer's blower at a hundredish bucks do just as well? My dog groomer friend says 'I told you so...'.

Great for professional dog grooming!
I've been using an 8 HP metro-vac dual motor master blaster for my professional dog grooming for about 6 years now and have decided to retire her due to her age, continuous servicing of her and the desire to try something new. I am going to service her once again and keep her as a backup. The master blaster runs about $380 and that is without the variable speed option, which usually runs closer to $400 or more. This Adam's air cannon dryer has so far proven to be well worth the money! I've been using the air cannon for about a week now. It is as powerful as the master blaster, yet quieter than the master blaster. The air seems to stay cooler longer with the air cannon versus the master blaster. I love that it came with two hose attachments (fan and force). The dryer without without attachments on it is great for fluff drying (dried "Frannie" pictured) Also, I love the spin lock mechanism that the hose and hose attachments attach with rather than the metal clamp rings of the master blaster. The air cannon hose is very flexible and super long but wont get in your way if you keep the excess rolled on a designated hanger. I recently ordered the "shernbao High Velocity Professional Dog Pet Grooming Hair Force Dryer Blower 6.0HP (DHD-2400F)" and it was a joke at how short the hose was. I had to return it due to the hose and its 6 HP wasnt quite enough for me and the large, furry beast dogs I groom here and there. I do not recommend the shernbao for professional grooming. I love the air cannon's variable speed and safety start up as well, which are features in a dryer you usually have to pay a bit more for! The base and casters are big and sturdy. The dryer itself is lighter and shorter than the master blaster, which is great, because I do travel with my dryer sometimes. The only downside I've noticed about this dryer is the power plug does not contain a ground prong. I'm very pleased with this order so far and hope other groomers can find this review useful, as I've only seen car drying reviews on here and I know how hard it is to find a good, affordable professional dog grooming dryer!

Excellent - like an air squeegee for your car! Works best with ceramic coats.
I've been looking for a way to ensure a scratch-free drying of my car after hand washes. I applied ceramic coating to my car, so it's quite hydrophobic when the soap is rinsed out. Using this air cannon with the slotted attachment feels exactly like using an air squeegee - the droplets flee as you move the nozzle side to side. You do have to develop a bit of a method, but you'll get the hang of it in about 2 minutes. The heat works very well! The hose itself almost gets too hot to handle - you'll be glad you have the foam grip, as it insulates well. I saw some reviews mentioning that the heat was inconsistent - this is not what I have observed. It kept getting warmer over a few minutes until the output air was very warm, even hot. One of the best advantages of using this air cannon is that all of the crevices, including folding mirrors where water tends to accumulate in a near-impossible way to dry. The air cannon blasts all of the water out, ensuring you won't have any of those annoying drips that tend to leave water marks. Probably one of the best finishes I've had when drying a car. I wish I'd used one of these when applying the ceramic coat! If you take your time, develop a method, and especially if your car is coated, you should be able to easily dry your car in about 10 minutes. It may be slightly faster to use a microfiber towel, but with the air cannon, you won't have water mark streaks, and you'll be able to get water out of all those crevices that tend to hold water for hours if not days. I highly recommend it!

Nonsense
I sincerely enjoy this, it's small and compact for the amount of air it produces and doesn't have a ton of floating parts. This no non-sense approach makes the air cannon my favorite tool I own. I love how large the wheels are and that the hose is so long, I can reach anything. I didn't think I'd like the slinky style hose but as it expands it becomes easier to use. Be careful not to let go of the hose or it will take off like a firehose would and sling around. I've been using this for a while and have zero issues, no complaints so far just find myself relying on it and "chasing" every drop when I could just use a small cloth to dry it. I love the grip on the hose and the rubber tip so nothing gets scratches should you make contact with the car. This is all around a great tool.

Read this before hitting Buy! Please.
After purchasing a soap cannon to use when washing the car and cutting my wash time by 50%, I became frustrated at the amount of time it takes to dry the car and the fact that I had not been able to find an adequate drying cloth. So, I decided to "toss in the towel" and purchase a drying cannon. I also decided to save a few bucks and get it via Open Box. The first one came without any hoses or nozzles. The second one was used but everything was in the box. First, Open Box deals used to be, not too long ago, a good deal because it was an item that was "damaged" in the warehouse, usually the box. Nowadays, the item has likely been used and returned for a really good reason. At least, in my experience. This cannon is no exception. After sitting in the garage for several weeks, I finally put it to use and was immediately disappointed. This drying cannon is NOT better than using a towel, it's simply different. It is definitely NOT faster, as a matter of fact, it will increase your drying time by a minimum of 20-30%. This increase in time is due the need to develop a technique so you are not repeatedly going over the same area because you just wet it again trying to dry another section and the cannon is NOT as powerful as the description would lead you to believe. I don't care what the other reviews say, I do not see this as being much stronger than a leaf blower. Perhaps, because the hose is so long, by the time the air gets to the nozzle, it's really focused but not as forceful as it needs to be to make the drying go fast. How about the heated air? Well, it comes and it goes. If you own a Mini or Versa or maybe a Soul, the air might stay hot for the entire 30 minutes it's going to take you to dry a small vehicle. Honda Accord? Nope, it's going to be warm, then warmish, then cold, then warmish, then mostly cold for the 45+ minutes it will take you to go back and forth over the car to get it completely dry. Then over it again because water seems to have appeared out of nowhere. Does the cannon stay upright. Yes, yes it does and the hose is long, 30 feet, so you don't have to move the cannon more than once to go around the average sedan. Would I recommend this to someone who says, I am looking for a faster way to dry my car? No, no I would not. I repeat this device is NOT faster it's just different. AND it takes a technique that you might never achieve and it's tedious to dry a few inches of your car at a time and then dry it again when you blow water back on the same area. Who would I recommend this for? Me. The person who is on the second one and simply cannot be bothered to return it. It does some things well. It gets in the crevices that always drip water after you have put the chamois away. It dried my rubber floor mats very well - of course it took twice as long as I could have done with a towel but they were completely dry. I hope that you will believe this review. If you are on the fence, trust me when I say, this is not going to make you happy. It is going to leave you frustrated and wondering why you did not listen to this review. This device is a good start but it needs so much more power, so much more, to be an effective drying tool and to surpass what a hand/towel can do in less time. Why did I give it 3 stars? Well, I struggled between 2 and 3. If 2.5 was an option I would have given it that rating. 3 stars because it does work but not the way most people imagine it will, which is why I am sure so many people return them. For $300 I would suggest your money will be better spent buying your kid that "pointless toy or toys they keep asking for". For the last time, this is NOT going to make you happy!

Incorrect Power Plug
Can't say how well this product works as it arrived with a power plug that looks like it's (perhaps) American - just two vertical prongs, so clearly won't work with Australian power outlets. Not great - especially being sent to an Australian address - might be good if the product could be used without having to buy adaptors, or whatever might be needed to get it going. Might be willing to re-assess if this happens - otherwise I'll return it.
