Does anyone have any tips on how to hand wash them?

To not mess up the fabric I’d suggest hand washing them and let them air dry. I hope this answer helps some.

Yes, go 2 sizes bigger and it will work for you. I wear a size 10 so I chose a size 44/45 and they fit perfectly.
