my "spray" is coming out as a squirting liquid (as opposed to a "mist.") is that how it's supposed to be?

Yes, this is a "stream" spray There are other brands on Amazon that have a "mist" I find those are better for me

Can you twist off the bottle lid?

Nope, that last bit in there goes to waste.

Is it sealed? My bottle does not have any seal on it.
