I had tried another product but wanted more of a shine on very old flagstones. SmartSeal's Sealer was comparatively inexpensive, easy to apply (I used a large brush) and dried quickly. No strong odours which was essential as it was indoors. Really pleased with a natural sheen. A more 'wet look' would probably be achieved on newer or better quality tiles.

Great product. I used it indoors on grey slate floor tiles. They always looked a bit dull except when they’d just been mopped. I put four coats on over the course of an afternoon and they have a lovely sheen to them now. Easy to apply. Ready for extra coats in about an hour. And no smell or mess. Not sure how durable it’ll be in a high foot traffic area, but fingers crossed.

The surface must be clean . It works good

I’m very pleased with this sealer. It has made a huge difference to my patio. The slate slabs were a dull grey before, but now they have a beautiful shiny charcoal finish. It was easy to apply with a paint roller after giving the patio a thorough jet wash.

I am delighted with this product - my 25 year old slate tiles were dull and left black stains on cloths and mops they now look great and are much easier to sweep and mop. The sealant does exactly ‘what it says on the tin!’

Indian sandstone... Supposed to be black, but very pale grey. However when it's wet, it looks fab, nice and dark and shiny. So I obviously thought "Great, I've found the perfect solution". How wrong was I! So pleased I only wasted money on the small sample size, as this stuff isn't cheap. All instructions followed, and this was after 2 coats. Not sure how the stone is the photos in these reviews look so 'wet and shiny'? As mine was just 💩!

I don’t generally review any products, but the Smartseal Wetlook Finish is the best I have used. And I have used many. I used it on a dark slate pavers, with a roller, the coverage goes a long way, and the finish is amazing, the second coat is even better……great product! 👍.

I have a 300mm sandstone ball in my garden and when it rains, the colours on it really pop and stand out, it looks beautiful. I thought this treatment would give it that look permanently, but it just looks ever so slightly darker. Thankfully I only purchased the sample size. Did 2 coats but only used half a bottle.
