It was ordered as a straight swop, so a good quality item.

Just used motor valve was OK, good strong item

Bought as a like for like replacement. I bought both the valve and actuator thinking both may be faulty. Since the existing valve's spindle spun continuously, rather than thru 90 degrees, I assumed it was damaged. However that is not the case with these valves, unlike Drayton. So I didn't need to replace the actual valve in the end. The motor in the old actuator offered so much resistance (partially seized?) that the spring was unable to rotate the cam backwards. I prefer the screw fixing of the Danfoss actuator over the clip on Draytons. However there is no indication on the Danfoss enclosure that the actuator is moving or what position it is in. Which makes fault finding harder. Also they are very quiet especially when new. Hoping for another 5+ years of service as that seems about all you can expect from these things.

Perfect replacement part. Likely expect 5years service life from this item. Parts replaced were 5years in service.

Works great as a direct replacement of an existing Danfoss valve. However, i have three in my system and all have failed either electrcially or leaking water between 5 and 8 years old. Not the best...

Did what was required

Purchased and installed 2 of these April 2022 and one of them has just failed (March 2025). That is just poor quality.
