Awesome monitor for home music setup
I purchased this monitor specifically to use for music production in a Windows environment - DAW, mixing, mastering, songwriting, etc. The resolution, quality and especially price is just right. I use with my laptop via HDMI and set display to 125% magnification (3480 x 2160 @60hz). If I set display magnification to 100%, everything is a bit too small for my eyes which may be perfect for other users. Monitor resolution supports 4K and HDR if your device/video can. Picture quality is awesome for my use which includes office apps and streaming aside from the music production stuff. I get a lot more desktop real estate to see more of the wave forms and menus without having to keep scrolling like my previous monitor. It's also perfect for my small home setup where space is a premium. I'm not a gamer or visual content artist so I haven't tried any of those type of apps.It was very easy to set up and comes with an HDMI cable. However, I chose to purchase a separate 4K HDMI cable and haven't used the one in the box. I started with the monitor powered off but connected, turned on the laptop, logged in and turned on the monitor. My WIN10 laptop did the rest automatically. I adjusted some of the display settings but very little changes from one of the default options. It does have an audio out (3.5mm phone) which can be used to connect to an external speaker set up if you need. I have an audio interface so I use that instead.I have been using it for more than a month without any issues. Color and picture is awesome (for my needs) and I especially love the extra desktop space. Also enjoying the 4K streaming!

This monitor with our macbook pros kills it in all the things that matter most.
On our collection of Macbook Pros(1 2014 13", 1 2014 15", 1 2015 15"), these monitors paired with an 8k mini-displayport to DisplayPort cable, provide a visual computing experience we've been accustomed to having with far more expensive monitors. Just really exceptional, especially for the price.Something to be aware of... The monitor controls are through an on screen menu that is operated by a single joystick/power button setup. It turns out that sounds a lot more cumbersome than it actually is once you get used to it. It's still not as great as having independent button controls for certain things(like input), but the menu layouts are clean, the response to control is decent, so after a short period of getting used to it, it ends up being less kludgy than it feels like at first. If you plan on using this with a macbook pro from a year I mentioned, and you don't have much technical knowledge of monitor tech... you need to get an 8k(eight k, not 4k) mini displayport to displayport cable. At time of posting this, they can be had for as cheap as 8 bucks here on Amazon(the ones we bought were about 14 bucks). They are worth every penny if you have one of those model macbooks... without them, you will not be able to attain retina class performance on these monitors. This is due to the version of HDMI supported on those macbooks - they can't drive 3840 x 2160 through the HDMI at 60hz(required for retina class display mode), but they can through the mini display port with one of those 8k cables. Order it now with the monitor and you'll be glad you did once you compare performance with the monitor's included HDMI cable. In advance - You are most welcome.I can't vouch for other models and years as those are the only ones I've used them with. If you have any notebook with mini display port connectors, it's worth reading up on the specs of it to see if you could benefit. I suspect a lot of systems from the mid teens(not just MBPs) could benefit.

Good basic monitor
Gets the job done. Just missing the ability to adjust the angle & height of monitor.

Should bought this a long time ago, it’s what I’ve needed.
This is my third LG Monitor this year so far. Started off with a LG 29UM68-P ultra wide from 2016, loved it, well the screen broke when I knocked it over. Ordered a new one early 2022 29WP60G. Returned the same day. Colors we’re horrible and text unreadable.Replaced it with LG 29WN600. It was a little better, still not a good looking as LG 29UM68-P.So.. I knocked over the LG 29WN600 by accident and had to replace.Replaced it with the one I’m reviewing and couldn’t be happier. Colors are much more rich, whites are whiter and calibration controls were easy to use. Great monitor and hopefully I don’t knock this one over anytime soon!My primary use for the monitor is for Graphics, Business, Video & Photography with a 2019 16” MacBook Pro.

Excellent 4K Monitor
Great 4K monitor. The screen is sharp and the colors seem accurate. The brightness and contrast are very good as well. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Nice 4k monitor with a affordable price
I got it when they are on Amazon prime sale, so the price is incredible for a 4k monitor. This is my second monitor right next to my main monitor since I need two monitors for my design work. The color and brightness are great. It's a 4k monitor so I can see all images or text clearly. The only thing I don't like is that you can't really adjust the angle of its stand. Other than that, everything is great.

Used as a Vertical Monitor and is amazing
For Office Productivity this is a great monitor. When used as a vertical monitor (must buy separate stand) I get real crisp text and images. I effectively get an additional 3 16 inch monitors with a width that is wider than 1080p. The ability to have a tall spreadsheet and other images and text on this monitor full screen has been a game changer for documentation and work.I have two of these monitors for this purpose one at each of my desks.

Exceptionally good product and customer service.
This was a used item rated by the seller as in "acceptable" condition. The price was very attractive. However, the unit I received was in "like new condition", no single scratch and packaging was also complete and like new. Highly recommend this product.
