Fits my smitty built winch , essential to keep dirt out of rope and drum

I have it on my Badland APEX 12000 lb winch. It fits, but it is so tight that it really pulls on its threads. We will see if it lasts. Other than that it looks and feels good.It is suppose to be water proof. After I installed my Winch, I installed the cover. That night it snowed about 3" of heavy wet slushy stuff. The nest morning I pulled the cover off to check, and the winch was covered with moisture. Now mind you, It was pretty humid before the storm when I installed the cover. For me, I purchased the cover to mainly protect the synthetic rope from the sun when the Jeep is parked.

If you have the cover over the winch correctly after it rains if you take the cover off you will see a bunch of moisture and it’s actually starting to rust spots on the winch and the bumper under the winch. I tried just leaving it off of the winch where I have a waterproof winch and there’s been no signs of rust anymore since I stopped using it. I bet it’ll work nicely with snow but rain just makes too much condensation under the cover so I stopped using it

It looks really good but I have just installed so I will respond again once I’ve had it on for awhile

After initial install the cover looked great, but after a few months it is VERY faded and looks like crap.I would not recommend this cover.

It will work on small winch,I have my winch mounted on a cradle so it won't fit

Mounted on my Harbor Freight Badlands 12,500 without issue. Keeps the sun and dust from invading the synthetic rope. Looks good as well.
