I kept avoiding this because it seemed like so much of a gimmick. I mean, I know how to glue wood. While making some cutting boards for some gifts, on a whim I threw this in with another order. What a surprise! It really does work, and cut my glue-up time in half and then some. It really speeds things up, and I’ve had much better results. And when I forget to clean it afterward (because we all have three projects going at the sametime, right?), the glue peels right off. It’s a little more of a pain to peel it off because of the texture, so washing in warm water is ideal. It’s a little small, so it works for smaller glue-ups, but might not be great for big flat laminations. If you are hesitating, just throw it in with an order and I think you’ll be glad you did.

Best glue roller and silicone tray ever! I make a lot of end-grain cutting boards, and this roller is a must-have to increase efficiency, because there are so many extra glue-ups. Add to that the fact that Titebond glue peels right off, both the tray and the roller. Awesome piece of kit. Feels and acts like quality stuff. Don't know how I survived without it.

Quite honestly, I thought they were a bit expensive when I bought them, but I've noticed I use the roller often. I like that the cleanup is just letting it dry, and the glue peels right off.

Tray works great and fairly easy to clean! Roller works OK, but it is made from a very hard material, so it drags a lot instead of rolling. Also the roller is difficult to clean due to the ridges, unless you clean it right away... which no one does. You would think the ridges help it roll, but they do not... it slides more than it rolls.

My primary intent for this purchase was the roller. I do a lot of edge gluing for building panels and this is far superior to smearing the glue with my finger. Cleanup is easy immediately with water or after glue cures. I have found that "wringing" the rubber roller portion works well to break the seal of cured glue. For those concerned with detailed data, my report is generated using Titebond III wood glue at ambient temperature range of 40°F to 105°F and average RH of 30% to 33%.The tray is excellent as a roller holder; I have not used it as a glue reservoir yet.

Simple. This will be one of the cheap tools that never dies in your collection. Spend more for a larger roller of you join wood often but great for occasional joining.

This thing works great for applying wood glue to projects. It's very easy to clean up and the groves in the roller apply just the right amount of glue, not too much so it all squeezes out when you clamp the parts together.

I almost didn't buy it due to small size, but don't let it fool you. This works great spreading glue on larger surfaces. Clean up is an absolute thrill, let it dry and peel it off. No residue, no fuss, no mess.

Brilliant little spreader. Squirt your glue on the piece and spread around with this. Keep in mind this doesn’t work like a paint roller. Has sped up production times and keeps a much cleaner work area with much less glue waste than before.
