Great pictures! Interesting facts! Fun for all ages! My daughter is obsessed with owls and this seemed like the perfect gift. She already knows a lot about them but this book did not disappoint her! She keeps reading and rereading it! She does say she wishes it went into more detail for each breed but the book does giver her a jumping off point for her research!

Really enjoyed reading this book about owls with my kids. I thought it was truly well written, and they learnt so much about the many different types of owls living around the globe. From the Snowy owls, blackiston fish owls, to the butterfly owls. Never knew there were so many species of owls around. The pictures are just splendid, and it's fun for both kids, and adults! Be sure to add this one to your book collection.

Oh, my goodness! Why weren't we taught just how amazing owls are? You can learn it now with this amazing book. The photos are beyond stunning. Did you know there is an owl butterfly? It is pictured in the early pages. The photo of the owl bathing is priceless!This obviously was a labor of love; Gary Dickinson wrote it for his father-in-law, who was an owl enthusiast. What an impressive memorial for a loved one. Simply beautiful!

This is a wonderful book on owls that is full of fun facts and beautiful photos of owls. My son and I learned so many things about owls. Their ears are behind their heads? They fly by stealth! They don't have teeth, so they swallow their prey whole! They don't really hoot. Wow! We learned so much about owls. This book is very enjoyable for children and adults. It's well written and a book we will read again.

This book has some excellent photos. I discovered at least 2 owls I never knew existed.Some good info along with good editing/formatting helps.

Book is very thorough about information on owls. There are some facts that I myself did not know. The book has a nice cover with some really great pictures of owls. Liked the lay out of the book. They look awesome when their wings are spread out.Liked the Snowy owls shot.

My son loved reading it. He enjoys owls and other birds of prey so it, gave him more to think about.
