I purchased this in November of 2010. About a month ago after the unit was on there was white "streaking" across the whole screen. I sent it to Optoma and it was repaired and sent back to me in about two weeks. The picture quality is excellent (before and after the repair)!

It is so well made, so easy to use, the picture is simply INCREDIBLE and I am absolutely THRILLED with this purchase.I did spend a little more than I had intended, but I wanted a REALLY NICE projector and this one is undoubtedly worth every penny.
